Gold Coast Bulletin?

Is there any way to identify which batsman is which? Farhat sticks his arse out further and crouches lower?

The Sunday Mail.

But then again I think Hogg is load of **** and is not worth listening to. Before the2nd Ashes Test at Lord's he couldn't belive that Onions was picked ahead of Harmison. Guess what? England won.

Yeah, classic Koertzen.
He gave McCullum out LBW when any idiot with half a brain would of told you McCullum hit the ball into his pad. McCullum couldn't refer quick enough, and won.

Mark Nicholas currently explaining that Pakistan have "plenty" of batting after observing they have six specialist batsmen. 8-)

Oh, ****. Rudd in the comm box. Might get my radio and tune into ABC Grandstand.
Kerry O'Keeffe still doing that? I love the summer cross-country road trips with his laugh interspersed with cricket commentary on the radio. Memories.

Warnie's "The first objective of a spinner is to stay on" fast becoming Ritchie-like in its cliche-ness.

Interesting thoughts from the feedback cricinfo is getting on the declaration;

this game will only be won if both teams are chasing a result, and Ponting has kept that door well and truly open. For the first time I've seen, test cricket owes Ponting a thankyou
Maybe some other international captains could take heed from the result of this match (if there is one), instead of grinding out 600+ first innings scores to pad out the stats of their star batsmen?

Absolute bull**** this 'for the first time, Test cricket owes Ponting a thank you'. He's no Taylor-like statesman but very, very harsh.

EDIT: Poor form from MoYo for not coming out at 3. Fine to bat lower when Inzi and others are in the side but when you're clearly the side's premier batter.....

That's a... great delivery.

Also,

Peter: "Have to agree with Josh there. Clearly stacking on 700+ would most likely mean you can't lose the test. But you need both teams to have a chance to win for a test match to be exciting.
I tend to agree. I love a match that ebbs and flows with all three results possible over one team bringing on the spankage. While the declaration means it'll probably be Pakistan batting in the fourth innings, it also means there probably will be a fourth innings.

Ponting must be one of the most unjustly derided captains in recent times.

Good bowling by Mitch.

Yeah but Stedder's is a rubbish punter. He is a walking $50 note to all betting agencies.
$10 on Aus Highest Opening Partnership @ 1.76
$10 on Salman Butt v Imran Farhat @ 1.90

$10 on Someone other than Johnson - Most Series Wickets for Australia @ 1.50
$5 on Danish Kaneria - Most Series Wickets for Pakistan @ 4.50
$5 on Series Drawn 1-1 @ 6.00
That'll be $16.60 thanks.

Reminds me of a certain sporting declaration by one W.J.Cronje in Centurion in 2000.

Obviously not, but making a song and dance about sporting declarations is irrelevant. Its whether the declaration is a good one for his team or not.
