Yep I don't disagree with that at all. In fact, of all the other keepers in the Prem I'd take Robinson in form over all except maybe Reina (but he gets beaten at his near post a lot).
I'd prefer Friedel tbh. Although you did say Robinson in form, with Robbo you have to take the howlers as part of the whole package.

Given used to be a Gaelic keeper I suspect, stays on his line too much. His shot-stopping's so incredible he's a quality keeper in spite of it, but there are a few I'd rather have. His keeping for the goal that put us out of the World Cup was horrendous- he's bloody lucky Henry didn't control it with his feet or he'd be the villain of the piece.

Also, another good performance from Anderson yesterday- it's unnerving that his bad performances always come when I'm not watching...

Well, those pens of course not the most important misses of the weekend. Yeah I had Cesc as captain too, but he had a decent game apart from the miss.

Having Fabregas as my captain and Defoe as well was not good.

Have got Given though.
Sorensen doing the job for me, shame I have Fabregas though.... Having said that only brought him in a few weeks ago when Lampard looked a bit crocked, so it was no win anyway. Less said about Defoe leading the line the better......

Lloris is the future though. An excellent keeper, hate Domenech but he got this one right.

Pipe fream but he is incredibly perfect for Arsenal.
Has he really?. Cant saw that i've been overly impressed by Lloris the few times i've seen him tbf (WCQ vs Ireland most recent). After Euro 08 when Coupet was dropped, no way Lloris or Mandanda should have played in front of Frey.

Always thought Landreau was never given enough chance for France, whenever seen him play he's always looked pretty damn good (I know he's crocked at the minute, but still)

He played for Lille against Lyon this morning. I tell you what, Lyon's defence is as comical as Pakistan's catching in the recent Test against New Zealand in Wellington. They were up 3-1, before losing 3-4

Pretty much everyone who watched France-Ireland came away impressed by Hugo. Reckon if he wasn't keeper we would've been spared the ****ery that followed at the end.

Reckon he's not being done any favours by his defence at Lyon though, gives him the opportunity to make a lot of saves but when Clerc and Cris are your two best defenders you know you're in for a tough time.

Either way, I think he's a real good keeper, very smart, efficient, athletic and sharp. He's one of those who doesn't need to make insanely spectacular saves as his positioning more often than not is right on the mark.
