**Official** Pakistan in New Zealand (3 tests)

This is interesting. Can't have been more than a few millimeters in that.

Also, with the refferal, I thought there was no outside help. (i.e.- The batsman can't ask his partner or team if he can challenge) is that the case with the bowler as well? Because it hardly seems fair that a bowler can ask his keeper and captain if he should but the batsman isn't allowed to.

Soo marginal. Still can't make up my mind on whether than was a no-ball or not tbh.
Benefit of the doubt I reckon. I didn't see any line but at the same time the boot seemed to be behind the line next to it. Close a no ball as there has ever been in Test cricket.

I would swear that there was the smallest of small parts of Asif's shoe behind the line. I wouldn't have called it no ball, but crikey that was a Daryl.

I believe its the fielding captain who decides on the bowling referral. And the batsman decides his.

Great display of intriguing Test cricket. Two 'emerging' teams, haven't enjoyed a Test so much in years.

Same question applies then. Just swap bowler and captain around. If the batsman isn't allowed to ask for help then I don't think the captain should be allowed to ask his bowler/keeper to check.

I ask this cause I saw Vettori ask Brendon and O'Brien if he should refer a decision in the Pakistani innings.

And aws Brendon goes to a beauty of a ball and a good catch. Now the saviour.

Trademark New Zealand collapse. Once again it will be too Vettori to do everything. If these ***** were on a performance based contract, then the NZC would be saving a lot of money.

Forecast for Dunners tomorrow is sunny, same for Sunday. I suspect these are the best the conditions are going to be for seam bowling. Rain is forecast for the final session, so hopefully we won't have to bat again and can come back tomorrow with better conditions to bat, get another hundy and get Bond to pressurise the inexperienced Pakistani top order.

Now, that's optimism.

Some heart must be taken on that we should be able to get something from this pitch. Need some more runs though.
