They have stalled big time and they shouldn't because they are both talented guys. Move them both to ECW and let them thrive in a brand for young, up coming talent. ECW needs to be taken more seriously as a brand and the best way for that is to have a strong roster where there is healthy competition for the ECW Championship.

I'd move MVP, Evan Bourne, Matt Hardy and Finlay to ECW. I'd maybe even move Chavo Guerrero back to ECW and make it the wrestling show. Imagine having an ECW roster comprising of Christian, William Regal, Tommy Dreamer leading the pack but with guys like Shelton Benjamin, Matt Hardy, MVP and Evan Bourne as the key supporting players. I think ECW would be established as the fresh alternative brand.
Though that is a good idea, I think the timeslot and network it's shown on means that it's almost impossible for it to be considered as a legit contender to the other two A shows. Would like to see it take off though.

Your probably right, but I'd like to see ECW become more than just an on air developmental system. I'd like to see ECW as the place where guys who are genuinely talented but are lost in the shuffle on Raw and Smackdown get their chance to make a difference and become stars. Imagine MVP or Evan Bourne holding the ECW Championship? That'll bring some instant credibility straight away.

I agree with everything you guys say but unfortunately I feel the reason MVP's push was pulled is because the fans weren't getting behind him. He just wasn't generating the reactions that he deserved IMO.

It's because he's a natural heel and his babyface character is so forced and contrived. Turn him heel and put him on ECW and push him as one of the top contenders for the ECW Championship. That's what I would do anyway.

Yeah, he was a lot better as a heel, in hindsight that is very apparent. I am surprised his faceturn didn't work out though, as it initially seemed to get a very positive reaction, and I myself could see no reason why it would not be a success at the time. I suppose the gimmick of being the "most valuable player" and the "highest paid star in Smackdown's history" gimmick is obviously more suited to a ****y heel type character than it is a face, but still, thought he would make it work. Still time for that though I suppose.

To be fair he hasn't had a really long run as a babyface. Plus he hasn't had the opportunity to be in major feuds like he did when he was a heel. But with Kofi Kingston taking his spot against Randy Orton and doing a great job so far I think he will either feud with The Miz or turn heel sooner or later.

Yeah I expect the same to be honest, think the same thing could be said about Mark Henry as well actually.

Just watched RAW earlier and must say I enjoyed it very much. My best mate from my old city is down to visit this week and we have been drunk pretty much since the day he got here and it hasn't disipated, did a number on some guinness and two bottles of rum today and ended up watching RAW and it was a right laugh. Watching it with him took me right back to the old days, he is pretty much the definition of casual fan and his reactions to everything just heightened my own enjoyment of it. He would be laughing everytime someone hit a dropkick on someone because he thinks dropkicks are badass and it took me out of my own wrestling perspective of seeing dropkicks as just a stock move and **** and back to the times when I enjoyed it for what it was. We both laughed when Khali killed Chavo with his chop, we laughed when Mark Henry hit his slam on Cody Rhodes, we both speculated on how Jamie Noble was dead when Sheamus powerbombed him on the concrete (which was god damn brutal imho). Was good times all round, haven't enjoyed a wrestling show as much as that in ages, wish I could watch it like that all the time. Ending with Show and Jericho flooring Cena and DX was awesome for me as well, seeing HHH floored by the codebreaker was awesome

Short sighted booking hurting them long term. That ridiculous "losing streak" he had before does curtail his ceiling long term unless he can pull out a Rocky Maivia to Rock type transformation. He could probably get over but he'll never be PPV headliner over which is a shame because he was excellent when he debuted and looked the goods.

Loved Jericho's promo with the Undertaker on Smackdown this week really top stuff.

Sounds like Ricky Hatton was not really cut out as the guest host of RAW last night, I gather that he mumbled most of his lines and it was hard to work out what the hell he was saying half the time. Him being put in a match with Chavo sounds somewhat amusing, if totally dire.

Also what the hell has happened to CM Punk? It seems that with the return of the Undertaker he has been relegated down the card and left completely without a program. The fact that he's been shunted into the Team Orton vs Team Kofi match at survivor series just goes to show how he has been totally demoted. Seems like such a huge waste after all the amazing work Jeff Hardy did in order to put him over before he left the company.

Also, though the guest host gimmick has done better than I thought it would, surely they could do something a bit less formulaic with it now. It seems that literally everyweek, all that happens is. Either Jericho or the Miz come out to interupt a segment involving the host, insult him a bit, then DX come out to make the save, resulting in a match being made for later on, bah.

I wouldn't worry about Punk, they are probably just resting him from the main event ready for the new year. He did main event six PPVs in a row, so a couple of months away from the headline events is no bad thing - same as Orton IMO

Hmmm probably true, I certainly agree that Orton will benefit from a break at the top, but Punk I think should have at least been given some sort of feud to tie him over to the next one, rather than being used to make ends meet. I suppose there is still time for him to develop a mini-feud with one of the members of Team Kofi mind you.

Undertaker vs Chris Jericho on Smackdown this week. Big Match, shame it wasn't saved for a PPV really.

Looks like we get another reunion of the Brothers of Destruction as well.

Haven't seen TNA Turning Point yet but it's been getting some awesome reviews. Two five star matches being delivered back to back on the show. Kurt Angle vs Desmond Wolfe was well received and the match between AJ Styles vs Christopher Daniels vs Samoa Joe was apparently awesome too. I'll try and definitely catch the show now.
