Its really sad news. Huma was pretty young and she herself was a doctor.

yeah man, apollo. hope your mom is doing great now.Which hospital was it, Bagapath? Was it Apollo? Even my mom has been there for surgery for a while now and I was there too..
life is cruel isnt it? all the money and fame wont mean much when it comes to moments like this! but on the other hand, at least wasim could air lift his ailing wife and get her top notch treatment in a foreign country. how many commoners can afford that? he and their kids will at least know he tried his best to save her.So sad to see this. First McGratha nd now Wasim.. is not fair that gys who love their wives so much have to go through such stuff.

in my opinion, there is no meaning at all... for life or death... being nice to others and sticking to some basic ethical/ moral values make the few decades you live pleasant for you and everyone around... thats all... well, that is the atheist in me speaking... you can philosophize as much as u want but nothing can match the loss of a mother, obviously.. feel terrible for their kids....

Really sad abt Wasim though.. Thought some personality was there seeing sme of the media outside but didn't know it would be so tragic.

Meaning of life is doing the right thing for those who are around you, be there for them in their time of need without thinking of the consequences.
My heart goes out to Wasim and his children. I hope and pray that god gives him the strength in these tough times.

Shared the same neioughbourhood as Huma's family for four years however she was studying in UK at the time so was rarely home. Remember having a blast at their engagement party. Waqar,Mushy,Inzi and the rest of the current mullah party were all drunk out of their minds. Waqar had bundle of 100 rupee notes in his hands and he kept on throwing them in the air while dancing to the live performance of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan all us kids would rush to the dance floor to grab the free money
after few more drinks he started tearing all the money in his hand.

Didn't know anything about how much Wasim's wife meant to him until now, but it's always incredibly sad for anyone when someone so dear to them is taken. Great cricketer or anyone else.
If I had a way, I'd wish Wasim Akram all the best. But I don't, so all I can say is he has my sympathy.

a prominent film personality i know has a huge ornamental mirror in the middle of his house with a crack in the middle.. waqar is supposed to have tripped and fallen on it after getting smashed at his party on a test match eve... he also tells me waqar wanted to meet up with a popular actress and was begging for an intro... since i know this actress i know the request from waqar reached her ears (and she turned it down)....Really sad news Rip

Waqar was a different beast in his early days.He was dating my khala(mom's sister) who was a top model of her time and a few months before they were to tie the knot she came to know he was cheating on her with another Tv actress of that time.He seems to have grown up and matured a lot now though woman in my family still curse him whenever they see him on telly.
Soon after their break up he suffered his 2nd major stress fracture.I remember my aunt once saying usnay mujhay dhoka diaa allah nay usko stress fracture kar diaa
Now we know why Waqar lost his potency always beware of a woman scorned
