So gutted. So nearly chose Daics with my last pick and have been getting imagining him and Brown in the same forward line, with Buckley in the centre. Was my absolute favourite as a kid. [/self pity]

are we really not doing a bench? Pretty weird not to, given the amount of rotation off it in the modern game.

Main problem being is that often as drafts wear on, people sometimes lose interest. But if everyone is happy to, I don't see why we can't do a full 22.

Happy with that, but honestly, if at the time I pick my 22nd player, I think he's a better candidate for one of the 18 starting positions than the encumbent (unlikely to be the case, given another 40 odd players would have been drafted by then) I'd want to swap them around.

It's funny, I was thinking today, the way we right down the teams bears very little resemblance to how the game is played anymore. Who would be the specialist wings these days? The guys on the bench will spend as much time onfield as anyone else. Neither here nor there in the context of this thread, just saying...
