Naumaan

First Class Debutant
AWTA, Parnell, Ishant Sharma & Aamer (who I don't believe for a second is actually 17, just like Saqlain Mushtaq is clearly not 32).
i have seen Amir in real, he is younger to me, but i think he's like 20
by the ishant sharma is atleast 24

agetesting has improved immensely in the last 5-7 years in Pakistan cricket I am quite certain Aamit is quite close to his age listed, just because you look like a skinny school girl does not mean every else would too :P.

Athlai

Not Terrible
Southee and Parnell seem to be pretty on the level aside from Southee's massive downfall vs. India.

Aamer looks good too.

Southee's spell to demolish Aussie was the best NZ bowling spell barring Bond in a long long time.

India's age testing is valid, Sharma's 20.

Aamer, while he does look young, is probably older than 17, as it just seems that a player wouldn't make a national side at that age without questions being asked.

Parnell's a bit quicker. Awesome death bowler too.

Yet to play tests, although you could also argue that unlike Southee he's yet to fail in tests.

The incredible thing about Aamer is he's a full 3 years younger than both Southee and Parnell.
Well strictly speaking 2 years and 250 odd days younger than Parnell :p

International Captain
Southee does too, tbf.
Southee's FC average is something like 30.4 or something like that. But he's taken two times as many FC wickets as Parnell. Plus he's played five tests and averages close to 50.

Parnell although a very good prospect is very, very overrated. Tsotsobe (SP)? is a better bowler I feel, although I haven't seen them bowl in FC cricket.

Kemar Roach looks like a very promising bowler. I watched him bowl when the Windies played Auckland late last year and I was very impressed with his pace, surprised he didn't get a game in NZ tbh.

Pretty accurate I'd say. Though its also important to consider how large the differences between them are.

Wouldn't be surprised if Southee comes back a few yards quicker and able to work the seam of the ball a bit better.

Put it this way, the over-rated Parnell is the leading wicket-taker in the tournament, reason being he doesn't crack under pressure and performs wicket-taking roles up front when it swings and at the death when he will bowls yorkers and soon he will be able to reverse it.

Parnell might not have a good FC average yet but when an ex international batsman (Boeta Dippenaar) who faced Wasim Akram says that he faced a spell of bowling with the older ball where Parnell was bowling around the wicket and swinging away from the RH and it reminded him of Wasim, you stand up and take notice.

The only thing Parnell needs is to get stronger to last for 4 or 5 day cricket. He needs to increase his stamina so he can come in for the 3rd spell like he did in his 1st.

Southee has only taken twice as many because he has played more FC games and tbf and not to sound arrogant but he plays in a weaker FC game than Parnell does doesn't he.

Plus Parnell is a genuine all-rounder in the making. His technique is unbelievably solid but he can also smash a sixer.
