Most comments since his win haven't been especially happy about his success I thought. Argentinian and all that.

Probably fair. Might be a UK thing with the Argentinians, though. Struggle to see what he's done personally to make other people dislike him.

Wishing I didn't lay against Del Potro now (did it before the semis). Should have had faith in him

I have no problem with Argentinians outside the football world. The two Diegos have rather soured me on them in that sphere.

I like del Potro, he stood up incredibly against Roger last night, didn't buckle and kept hitting incredible shots, Fed seemed utterly bamboozled by the variations at times. Hope he becomes world number 1 actually, never warmed to Rafa much for some reason

Some of them have obviously also been involved with a number of on court spats with Lleyton Hewitt which pretty much automatically makes them hated in Australia.

I always liked Coria and Del Potro seems to be a generally good guy so they aren't all bad.

As Team Hewitt tells it, several phone calls were made to Tomic, his father and an IMG agent on the Saturday evening, asking if Tomic would hit at 1pm the following day.

There was no response, but the 16-year-old was present when Hewitt arrived to practise, his physiotherapist Ivan Gutierrez making the approach to the Tomic entourage.

Lleyton has gotten back to number 26 this week so he's improving again. He's clearly not top 5 or 6 quality as we have seen with those guys, but I'd suggest he's every bit as good as Simon, Soderling, Monfils and all those other guys floating around 9-16 in the world.
He just needs to keep winning matches and getting fit so he can get back up there in the rankings thus avoiding top 8 players until the quarter finals in big tournaments.
