Yeah, good show this from Morgan. Had more than a healthy slice of luck, but even so, for perhaps the first time he looks like he's good enough to be here.

The thing with England is even *when* all of the batsmen get going they've still been in danger of being bowled out. It's hardly surprising that when the usual happens (ie 2 batsmen get out early somewhere along the line) that they don't even manage a competitive total.

Five minutes ago Australia might have been pretty happy with this - not so sure now.

Won't be straightforward getting 290 under lights.

Johnson ending with horrible figures - who'd be a death bowler eh?

How the **** did the Aussies manage to lose a test series against a country almost totally devoid of talent?

Unbelieveable really

This has to be one of the weaker English attacks in recent memory, with no proper alternative to these two plus Bresnan, Rashid & Mascarenhas.

Onions is still waiting for a game ... I think I'd have him ahead of Sidebottom or Bresnan tbh. But yeah, hard to think of another player in county cricket who could come in and do a job. I always thought Jon Lewis was a bit unlucky, but he's probably past it now.
