Aaron crawford joined frankston peninsula in victoria,the silly season still on it seems,i guess WA didn't want him.
Anyone a heads up on who will be in the canberra side apart from mark higgs.

I see Brad Hodge essentially retired from Test cricket yesterday;

Brad Hodge alleges bias towards New South Wales players

Still, when you've been ignored with the regularity he has, not just in Tests either, would be hard to take.
I can understand his frustration, but this also in a way ensures that Hodge's international career is well and truly over, he is not only spewing venom towards the selectors, but he isn't even sparing his (former) team-mates.

Though what he says about there being a NSW bias in Aussie cricket is pretty much common knowledge, but still I don't think he can say Victorians or any other state has been ignored in particular in the last 18-24 months.

As much as I hate the current selection panel,you have gotta give credit where its due, they have given chances to every player that has perfomed irrespective of which state he might belong from.

You have gotta say, despite all the talent he has, when you read Hodge saying such stuff, one thinks he probably never had the right temprament to settle into the Australian side, and maybe that is something that has forced the selectors to ignore him.

Adam Croswaite joined Manly, lets hope he gets overlooked by the NSW selectors, so we can win some games this season.

Will be hitting up most/all of NSW's home games this season, so if anyone is going, let me know. :)

I'd love to get to one, but it's almost impossible. I'd really enjoy to go, but with my dad being a dweeb and myself not being able to actually get there, it's highly unlikely.

Obviously I wouldn't bother with a Twenty20, doubt I'd be at a One Dayer, but my dad reckons a day at a FC game would be "boring". 8-)

I think domestic one dayers are great to watch jakestar.. A four dayer is awesome to go to if you are there to watch a few players in particular. NSW will have a bunch of good players just out of the Australian team like Jaques, Bollinger, Hughes so I can't see how a day at the SCG would be boring.

Excellent, I'll be sure to see you there a few times. I went heaps a few seasons back but none of my mates like cricket anywhere near enough to come with me and I got sick of going into the SCG by myself on public transport to watch the game in empty stand with two old men and a dog. If you'll be there often though it'd give me someone to talk to, definitely incentive.

Guess I could maybe make a game or two over the holidays. How much are tickets normally?

Odd move - if you can't get a game as a quick in WA, you sure as **** aren't getting one in Victoria.

Have the same at WA with Dorey, Noffke and Magoffin. No doubt one of those will go down with injuries, and you are competing with the likes of Edmondson and Davis.
