Don't think we need a subforum, so voted no

Dunno who to support in this. Let's think. zaremba supports Sussex. Hingston supports Somersey. Ho hum.

The original South Wales was bad enough, why would you make a new version FFS?

Could stack the batting with Rutherford for McSkimming, and get Redmond and Cumming to bowl some tweakers

Whether it goes in a sub-forum or not probably depends on how much interest you think it'll get. If it's a fair bit then definitely in a sub-forum - otherwise it will clutter up the main forum. I know I'll duck in every so often and see how Otago is going.

THanks for posting schedule, I hope I'll be able to watch these amazing competition but I think Withour Pakistan, Very few pakistani fans will take interest in it,...

I think this tournament deserves a sub-forum, its pretty much a global tournament with clubs from almost every cricket playing nation participating in it, so if it creates fair deal of interest then don't see any reason why we shouldn't have a sub-forum for this.

Anyways, if NSW is gonna go full strength into this tournament, then they are gonna have the following squad:

  1. David Warner
  2. Phillip Hughes
  3. Michael Clarke
  4. Shane Watson
  5. Simon Katich
  6. Brad Haddin
  7. Steven Smith
  8. Brett Lee
  9. Nathan Haurtiz
  10. Stuart Clark
  11. Nathan Bracken
  12. Moises Henriques
  13. Dominic Thronley
  14. Phil Jaques
  15. Doug Bollinger

Now, if that lot play to their potential, then they would prove very hard to beat, and though Victoria has a slight advantage over every other team as they three of world' best T20 batsmen in their side (White, Hussey, Hodge), but still they would find the void left by Nannes a little to big to fill.

Just realised that Watto won't be able to play for NSW in this tournament as he wasn't the part of their squad last season.

That's a pretty scary team. Frankly Sussex will do well to compete on 11th Oct.

Not sure why we wouldn't have a sub-forum on this. As has been pointed out, the alternative is to clutter up other threads with T20 talk.

Haddin also won't be there.
Yup, thought he would be ok to play in this, but now its pretty unlikely he would play any cricket before Australia' ODI tour to India later this year.

Anyways, just out of curiosity, has any announcement been made regarding whether Tresco would represent Somerset in this tournament, I do hope he plays, would be nice to see him back in the thick of things, but I think its very unlikely that he would play.
