What's that? A Man Utd player who has LOOOADS of potential? Good grief, you are full of surprises. Both Anderson and Mikel with loads of potential. Mikel most likely ahead of him though.

I think miles is stretching it but I allow opinion to cloud my decision. I really really dislike Drogba where as I remember Anelka fondly from watching him play for the Arsenal.Anelka is one of those strikers who goes missing for long stretches of the season, his goals always come in spurts. Plus he can't head the ball for toffee.
If you're only going to have one trick, pace isn't a bad one to have, but Drogba by miles for me.
His rather acrimonious departure from Arsenal prevents me from looking on him kindly tbh, though he was had a good record for Arsenal, as soon as a big team came in for him he got all shirty and demanded to leave.I think miles is stretching it but I allow opinion to cloud my decision. Le sulk. I have read a few pieces about how him wanting to leave was overhyped. Can't say I remember it all that well. Though I did gain some respect for Anelka when he said the best striker he'd ever played with was Kanu. Though it may be egged up, his conduct throughout the whole affair left a hell of a lot to be desired, I'm old enough to remember it fairly well, and iirc he made several fairly poisonous comments about the club, though, the joke was on him, as he ultimately failed massively in Madrid.Le sulk. I was 6 years old when this was all going on, so I'll have to take your word for it. I obviously know of the nick name etc. Just I've read a few books, autobiographies and articles that have all said that it wasn't as bad as it was amde out to be.Though it may be egged up, his conduct throughout the whole affair left a hell of a lot to be desired, I'm old enough to remember it fairly well, and iirc he made several fairly poisonous comments about the club, though, the joke was on him, as he ultimately failed massively in Madrid.
Never heard the bit about Kanu though, can understand it though, Kanu is a very underated player, who at his peak was a better player than Adebayor is currently. If Arsenal had signed Kanu at the beginning of the 98-99 season rather than late on, I would wager they would have won the league comfortably.
Fair enough, it may well have been to be honest, I was probably only 12 at the time, so my memory of it isn't great, apart from the fact that a massive amount of Arsenal fans were massively pissed off. Brumby could probably shed better light on the matter, as he's old and greyI was 6 years old when this was all going on, so I'll have to take your word for it. And I'm wrong? Or was that manhandling of Fabregas an illusion? If you want one who doesn't have loads there's Tom Heaton. Championship goalie at best. What's that? A Man Utd player who has LOOOADS of potential? Good grief, you are full of surprises.
Ha, from what I recall most of the agitating for the Real move came from Nicholas's brothers, who at the time acted as his managers.Fair enough, it may well have been to be honest, I was probably only 12 at the time, so my memory of it isn't great, apart from the fact that a massive amount of Arsenal fans were massively pissed off. Calm down Rose, need a root or something hey?And I'm wrong? Or was that manhandling of Fabregas an illusion? If you want one who doesn't have loads there's Tom Heaton. Championship goalie at best.
Like the look of Jack Rodwell and Fabian Delph if you want players not from Utd?
Just peeved at the perception I only know about Utd players. Just can't be bothered to talk about them.Calm down Rose, need a root or something hey?
That wasn't my implication at all, so never mind.Just peeved at the perception I only know about Utd players. Just can't be bothered to talk about them.
Also, he asked about Anderson and Mikel and I said Mikel is better at this stage.
Oh and probably. Working on it though.
That's only the starting line.Asking girls to take their scarves off isn't working on it rose
Ah ok.That wasn't my implication at all, so never mind.
Don't think there is much between Drogba and Rooney either really. Drogba at his best is quite possibly the most efective player in the league. Think if I had to choose a Premiership front two then I might go with him and Torres.Chelsea I reckon. Really rate Berba (&, given who he's played for that's high praise), but United haven't seen the best of him yet.
Drogba's a great striker, albeit a diving fecker.
