Not too sure. Do you mean in terms of pure pounds? Tomkins did a really in-depth analysis of the buys and how much they were and how high they were in comparison to the transfers of the time, etc, and IIRC it was Souness who did a lot of bad spending.

Well, that too, but it's more that Eduardo could get a ban for doing pretty much exactly what Whine did, just not so expertly.He only went down when he saw the contact coming. He was running pretty damn fast at the time so I don't see what he was supposed to do. Almunia's the villain here for Arsenal.

He's been doing it in every game, has tried that "dink and run around" thing at least 15 times this season, worked 2 or 3 times against Wolves.

**** Webb was horrible today, so so many ****ty decisions both ways.
Thought he was right not to even take a second look at SWP doing "an Eduardo" towards the end there though. SWP is one of the worst offenders in the league for diving IMO, which isn't helped by the fact that he's pretty **** at it as well so always looks like a right putz.

Haha, he'll join a good team sooner or later anyway, as with all Spurs players who are any good, and then Spurs fans after crowing that they are on the up will go back to the mid table, complain like hell, sack a few managers, and then get a few good players again and then the cycle will repeat.

We got well beat, at home again, from Norwich yesterday.
You it's not going to be your day when our ex centre half (Mickey Nelson) who has been booed and taunted since the beginning of game, who was only playing because one of the regular centre halfs was injured, scores an unbelievable overhead scissors kick into the top corner about 15 mins into the game. When he played for us (which was only 3 months ago) he had all the skill & coordination of a epileptic rhino.
It wasn't all bad though one of the Norwich fans was leaning over the barriers giving the V's & w@*ker signs fell over the barriers landed on his head & knocked himself out so not a total loss of a day.
