Jesus, poor guy. Amazing how an incredibly fit guy in his 20s can die just like that. Been a few in footy over the last 3-4 years too.

Gutted to Steve Harper after waiting so long for the number one spot he has now surely been usurped, Krul looked absoutely brilliant today. Obviously will have to wait and see how he does, but looked really impressive today.
How does he look absolutely brilliant when the guy was a complete liability on crosses. He'll give far more goals away through that than he'll stop through being a good shot-stopper.

He made one error and recovered for it tbh, as far as I could tell he didn't give away any goals and kept out at least 3 or 4 that a lot of keepers would have missed.

Total bollocks. He made some good saves not exceptional ones. He made numerous errors, one where he was saved by a totally dumb offside - expect to see that sort of example repeated but with a goal as the result. There'll be plenty of indirect negative effects of his uselessness on crosses too if he plays more.

I guess we'll see. But the bottom line was that were it not for his saves, Newcastle would have been defeated by quite a heavy deficit.

Here's a Youtube thingy of our trip to the citadel of evil, stolen by me from someone at Exeweb. I was a bit further down, and you can't see my lovely self, I'm sure your all gutted.:)

Some lovely comments from Leeds fans too, the joys of Youtube....
