Thinking of taking my two boys to Old Trafford tomorrow or Monday for their first taste of live cricket (they've been getting into the Ashes).

Does anyone know about the Times offer, mentioned on the Lancashire site? Was the voucher for free admission just available on Friday, or will there be another in the Sunday edition tomorrow, and on Monday?
As far as i know its everyday...i hope so anyway because i'm going tomorrow and i want to get in for free! The forecast is pretty good for tomorrow, not too sure about monday.

They are back on as well today so lets hope we get a nice lead before the close, although Horts has just got out

Might go over to OT tomorrow, if Manan is up for it. Was planning a meet up there but he has strangley stopped all contact...

Durham walking away with the championship this year, does not look like it will be anywhere near as close as it was last season. Think Hants will stay up fairly comfortably, Yorkshire look a fairly average side Worcester have been doomed from the start.

Good days cricket at Old Trafford, thought we were going to miss out on the last batting point which would have been inexplicable given the situation we were in (needing about 50 with 15 overs and 8 wickets in hand) but Laxman hit something like 16 off the 120th over from Rashid to get us to exaclty 400. Thought we could have declared at tea, but nice to get a couple of wickets before the close. Only weather can save Yorkshire one would think.

Caught the last hour and a half of the test in the pavilion afterwards as well, and got a bit of a tan.

Doesn't look as if there's going to be anything to play for at the Oval - Ramps can bat all day if he likes, he's probably got time to get to 350. Incidentally I notice he's on 895 for the season, has anyone reached the thousand yet? And if not, have we ever gone into August without anyone in four figures?

Luke Wright gets his second ton of the season and seems to of taken Harmison to the cleaners.

Having pretty good FC season is Wright.

Another 100 for Rob Key, been a good couple of months for him. Might not get an Ashes berth but he surely has to tour South Africa.

Wicket maiden first up from Mahmood. Did start with a wide down leg-side but umpire Holder let it go.

And as I type Northants are two down for 3. Terrible shot from Kepler's boy.
