Kazo, I could argue this with you all night but I'd rather not because we're dealing with speculation for 99% of the part. I think different conclusions can be drawn from the same information and that is what we're doing here.

Which is fair enough. I didn't think you had to throw in me revising anything.

BTW, what do you make of Vieira coming back to Arsenal?

I shouldn't have in fairness.

Part of me wouldn't want to see such a washed up legend turn out again for us in the state he's in, the other part thinks he could be an awesome influence in the dressing room and a great mentor for Ramsey, Denilson and Song.

Seeing as Ian Wright is the only source, I find it highly doubtful it's happening anyway.

Poor move by Arsenal, great business for Inter. I had tipped him to join his mate Claude Makelele at Ligue 1's retirement home - Paris Saint-Germain.

Avoiding the question - you've lost 25+ goals a season from a season when you didn't actually score that many goals - who's going to score them?
I remember you saying exactly the same thing when Ruud left. Probably don't need to remind you that we've won the league three times since then.

Loony BoB

International Captain
So who's replacing Ronaldo, or do you not need his 25+ goals a season?
Two words: John O'Shea.

The man, the legend. He can play anywhere, he can do anything. You just wait. You'll all say it's silly, but at the end of the season I think his goal tally will speak for itself. Hells yeah.

From soccernet:

Real are believed to now have offered players in part-exchange while Chelsea, Manchester City and an unnamed Italian club are still monitoring the situation.

But Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez is still demanding £30m for the Spanish international and has previously said that he is not interested in taking any Real players in the deal and wants a cash-only agreement.

The players on offer are Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Alvaro Negredo and Rafael van der Vaart.

Every player under the sun is linked with Citeh and it isn't going to happen anyway, same with Chelsea. The unnamed Italian club would either be Inter or Juventus since AC MIlan is more of a tight arse with money then Arsene Wenger is with over £40m gained in the sales of two players.

Guess Huntelaar has got more then he barganed for by moving to Spain. At least he made a fair bit of cash out of it.

Refreshingly honest tribute from Kieran Dyer to Bobby Robson. Practically called himself a **** at the Toon and that Bobby's job shouldn't have been to babysit 24 prima donnas.

A friend of mine (who is a big Geordie fan) reckons Dyer got Robson the sack, apparantly Dyer was the leader of a group who kept going to the chairman saying Robson was losing his marbles, was getting players names wrong & didn't have a clue tactically.

Maybe Dyer is feeling a bit guilty.

It should be a law that those under 18 in EU countries shouldn't be allowed to join foreign clubs.

Yeah R.I.P Sir Bobby, 1990 was great:)

Nice that his name got chanted at the Test match yesterday, even though I had no idea why for a while.
