Was something like 6 goals to 1 at three quarter time, wasn't it?

Houli was OK, didn't waste too much of the footy. Fed the ball a fair bit down back to use it, and he did that better than a fair few other team-mates.

Don't get to watch much AFL, but saw the first quarter of Adelaide vs. Hawthorn today (before the missus came back from the shops and wanted to watch a film).

Adelaide have some awesome young players though. Their young forwards completely bossed the Hawthorn backs in that first quarter. Taylor someone and Knight (?) in particular kicked some exceptional goals.

Haven't seen the result. Just hope Adelaide won after that first quarter.

Yeah, you're basically right. Adelaide have a few really good young players in their first or second season, and Walker had a good game today up forward. Knights has been around for a few years but he was good as well as you said. Tippett also plays up forward and is young and pretty good, as is Dangerfield, and there's a bunch of guys elsewhere in the side who have played under 50 games and are doing very well, like Mackay, Vince and Otten. Mackay is probably the best of the lot actually, even though he gets almost no press. He'll be a great player in a couple of years.

Smith's comment was just a reference to the fact that Adelaide haven't had a decent key forward aside from Burton for like ten years. Even when they were a genuine premiership contender a few years ago, it was with a pretty ****ty forward line, and the team relied on a good defensive setup and goals from the midfield to win games.

Great win be Adelaide, were 2.20 before the game which was absurd. Didn't have the balls to bet though.

However, wtf is it with them and 3rd quarters? Stop having a nap at half time!

Yeah, that's bloody awesome. Loved it, reckon Dunstall was in the right for the most part, until he really cracked it. Just because a guy is out for longer than expected, doesn't mean that his "future" is under threat.

Quarters basically reported that Croad's future was under a cloud, and Dunstall called him out on it. Quarters had no explanation, so Dunstall swore at him and basically said he perpetuates the media today, doing anything for headlines.

Apparently Quarters copped **** for his decision to play the Cousins video on Ch10, right?
