Do you reckon he has any chance to crack the SA ODI side? With the kolpak tightening he might lose his contract at the end of this season. If he were to have a good rest of the year in FC cricket though we'd probably consider having him as our overseas player if that were the case given he'd be available for the whole season.
Got all the qualities, bat, bowl and field (one of the best in the world) but not scoring a run in first class cricket probably does count against him. But things are changing and a lot of specialist guys are coming into the fold (van der Merwe, Abdulla, Louw) on one day form only, so Faf may have a chance. Possible long term (one day) replacement for Kallis...

Charl Langeveldt out for the season for Derby. He only played one game in the IPL but that was enough for him to aggravate his shoulder.

Good win for Yorkshire today, very close though.

We fielded pretty well and the bolwing was OK, but Leicstershire never really got going. Ackerman played well, if not a bit slowly.

Watched James Taylor take the best catch I've ever seen as well, full length dive on the boundary to get rid of Rudolph.

Any reason Rashid and Brophy were not playing?

Was it sunny?

How many were there?

Brophy was injured I think, Rashid was there as 12th man or reserve, but I'm not sure why he wasn't playing.

It was pretty hot for the 1st hour or so, then it clouded over a bit and cooled down, but it was still warm in comparison to what it has been like earlier this week. Pissed it down after the game though.

I'm not brilliant with estimating stuff like this, but I'd guess it was between 65-80% full.

Going tomorrow as well. I shouldn't really be though, bought tickets this morning thinking the game was today, then found out as soon as I'd done so it was tomorrow. Luckily everyone can still go and the weather looks like it might just hold. Not overly optimistic about our chances, I think far too much rests on Prince and du Plessis.

May be right, but there's not a lot to fear in the Yorkshire lineup either.

Seems like the crowds were **** yesterday, only 10,000 at Lord's. ECB sure know how to ruin a good thing.

20/20 cricket in May?
