2nd wicket down for Windies. Poor decision though tbh, looked like it was going over the top and missing off-stump. Glad to see the back of Gayle. Not because he's one of the Windies best batsmen, but because I actually don't enjoy watching him bat, don't like his style at all.

Devon Smith in missing straight ball shocker (ok it moved the tiniest amount but he missed it by quite some distance). He is geting out in identical fashion too often, it's simply not good enough.

Any argument for holding back Adrian Barath has been made utterly redundant. He must debut against Bangladesh in July, Devon has to go.
Yep. Barring a century in the second innings this should be it for Smith.

Don't really know Barath should suddenly leapfrog those on this tour who aren't getting a game though. Fair enough if you don't want to force Simmons into opening just to play Deonarine, but there's Dale Richards as well who actually is an opener.

Richards won't be considered again I suspect. He's injured and Morton has replaced him for the ODIs.

According to someone who heard her,
Says people can listen to the audio because while Onry said he was misrepresented, he never said he didn't say any of the things printed.

He was frustrated that he was being made a scapegoat over the clash of the IPL and this series.

He didn't say that he didn't want to play test cricket, but that he preferred 20/20. Says he didn't talk about quitting test cricket - not in her interview.

Says she stands by her inclusion of that part where he says he doesn't want to be captain and won't be for long.

My god the weather is all over the place today in these parts. I looked at the satellite 3 hours ago and it was supposed to be sunny where I am (about 15 from Chester-le-Street). Now there's some horrible rank black cloud with thunder and lightning.

Jimmeh rules, bad light sux. Still, the batsmen's runs didn't count because the track was flat so I can only imagine that these wickets won't count on account of the Windies batsmen being crap.

Was aimed at the England detractors rather than meaning to be a slight of the West India ns tbh
