He's gotten used to the requirements more than anything else. You wouldn't have ever questioned his committment or courage, he has just adjusted his game to AFL level.

It's like Mark McGough. The guy could be a "game-breaker" at VFL level, but never realised that even if he had 24 touches at the AFL, he wouldn't damage sides enough with those stats. He had to use those touches to get the ball in the hands of those who could do damage.

Jones is making the transition from being a star at WAFL, to being an asset at AFL level.

McGough not doing much in the Northern other than looking for cheap free kicks at the moment. Can't get a possy.

Big test this weekend for our young defence, Hooker to get Franklin, Pears to Roughead. Bellchambers to ruck and Ryder to play Fletcher's sweeping role. Neagle to take Lucas' place. Really need a huge game from our midfield to counter the hawks forward line and give them limited chances.

Will be interesting to see who loses by more, your lot vs Hawks or my lot vs the Saints.

Hate the fact that St Kilda appear to actually have some credibility this year. Surely they're due for their annual spate of soft tissue injuries to turn them back into pretenders?

Saints are one of the least hateable clubs. Seeing them and Geelong flying is good for football. Signs were there in 2004 and 2005, but both clubs had an intervening lull before they have now returned to where they should be with their respective lists.
