I was impressed with the Tigers last night, when we went down 12-0 i thought oh dear here we go again but they were on last night and on their day can beat any team in the comp.. Unfortunately im a realist and know that our days dont come around enough atm and we need to fix this to be any hope of challenging this season..

On another note, Keith 'Sauce' Galloway is starting to make a name for himself, this guy has been bagged a bit by people for not enforcing himself on games, but he is starting to leave his mark..
He took a few seasons to get over the crazy hit that Hoppa put on him but he has definately forgotten about that now and has been super impressive again this season after an impressive 2008.

Finally i sit back and look now and say i can conceivably see up to 4 tigers in a Blues Jersey...
I know its unlikely but Farah, Heighno, Galloway and Lawrence must surely all come into some recognition. NSW lack of quality in the outside backs and Props brings both Sauce and Lawry into contention whilst Rhino and Faffy both make their own cases.

Roosters playing a ****ty second half you say? Surely you jest.
The Roosters V Tigers game was almost identical to Raiders V Tigers in round one.

Roosters were better early, but never stamped their authority. Tigers hung in and got better in the bak end and were nigh untouchable in the second half. <3 Tuiaki.

Farah is almost a certainty, Ennis is his only competition. Think Lawrence and and Jennings are fighting it out for a centre spot while Heighington needs to pick up. Dont think his form has been as good as last years but I mainly think he's being overshadowed by Ellis.

I give up on tipping, given how much Brisbane has smashed the Warriors. IMO that Hunt no-try should of been a try as I don't think Moon (?) would of got there anyway and Hunt would of scored. That's my opinion anyway, but in saying that I can see why it wasn't given because Michaels incriminated himself by holding onto Moon's jersey.

Hunt try should have been given, Clinton's shouldnt have. Not gonna complain about either tbh, both could have gone either way.

Great win for us though, one of our best wins in a long time, I'm starting to think we are gonna have a better year than I thought.

Big blow for both Queensland and the Warriors with Tate being rule out for the season. Potentially could be good for Queensland if Willie Tonga plays some good footy and gets back to that level.

What is the full extent of the injury? When I saw him go down, I thought that he would be out for a very long time.

Sux for Tate. When he gets injured...he gets injured. No two week stuff for him.

Yeah, I really think people need to rethink Brisbane's prospects for this season. Our defence is amazing, and our back-line is probably the best in the comp. If Joel Clinton doesn't make the N.S.W. side something is up!

The biggest disappointment of the night, was the fact that Brisbane's defence was so good we didn't allow an extra Warriors try in so I could win some money with Broncos 1-12.

Queensland backline (with Tate out):

Hunt
Falou
Hodges
Inglis
Slater
Lockyer
Thurston

Going to be devestating. Add Prince to the bench, and you've got 4 series in a row. Figners crossed for no more long term injuries to our wonderful backline.

Think we can cover injuries in the back line with guys like Kemp, Tonga, Boyd. Forwards is where we cant have injuries.

Haha nah, Slater won't be playing wing. They'll more than likely play Boyd/Michaels on the wing, Slater at fullback and Hunt on the bench imo.

EDIT: Prince on the bench? Yeah great move, useful player to have on the bench is a specialist halfback...

Tate is one of the most inconsistent rep players but you need him because he can win you a series with his defense. Can replace him pretty easily though.

Meanwhile the Faders throw away another game.

Just goes to show how an inch can make a difference in the match, if Justin Carney scores that try instead of putting it on Inu's arm its 22-4 and game over.

Last time I tip Canberra.
What sort of tipper are you, tipping Raiders away from home?

Stopped doing that several years ago, despite being a patriotic supporter.

But, ffs! Raiders just can't close a game out!

But on the plus side i've got one tip right this round and won virtual nrl round thanks to the Eels.
