I reckon Prince opening and Duminy six > MacKenzie opening and Prince/Duminy six. So in that sense it's a good thing.

McGain's performance today isn't a true indicator of his abilities due to his recent injury, but all the same he is not a Test class bowler imo and I've said this for a while. He bowls some good deliveries, but is very inconsistent, and Test Match Cricket is showing this inconsistency.

You need only to look at last season's Pura Cup Final performance to get a real idea of how good he really is.

like who ? marcus north was the leading spinner with 8 wickets when he flew out to south africa.

i'd hate this to be his one and only harrar, plus are we really downplaying how well these 2 are batting.
