Exhibit A in the Case of People vs Unnecessarily Extending the Batting Order Like England did with Giles in 06-07 has just been tendered.

hi non-nuubs.

was playing poker with the scorecard in the corner and it seems to have all gone shisenhausen on the veldt. thinking that ronnie Mcranga is a class short at test level, which is nothing new for his type of player.

Btw, Steulen, who do you support in tests?
Difficult to say really. Anyone playing against England, but purely because I really enjoy reading the British press after a particularly bad defeat.

In this series, I am more or less impartial. I basically want Kallis, Ntini and Steyn to kill the Aussies, but at the same time I want Katich and Hussey to ton up, and Johnson to take a 10-fer. So I'm more supporting individual players rather than a team. Justin Langer is my all-time favourite player, so it was easy when he was around. :)

Hahaha this is so true. The British press is the most brutal on its players. It's a fun read!

Really annoying the way in which Australia manage to lose wickets in a cluster after building a promising partnership. Hopefully the McDonald dismissal would make it clear to the selectors that he is just not a good enough batsman to be playing test cricket.

Crucial now that, Mitch and North can get a partnership going now, as 350 is the minimum the Aussie should look to get in these conditions in the 1st innings, and anything beyond that would be a bonus.

Haha, this is me in football. Their commentators are also absolutely unbearable, so horribly blinkered it's embarrassingm and every time they go out they find a way to blame it on the referee or linesman for not giving a throw-in the right way. In comparison i don't mind their cricket team at all, there's much better writing and commentary in that department.

This. Would have dismissed a lot of better players too.
Fair enough, was a decent pill, but its not like that was the first outswinger Steyn bowled in the game, it has been swinging all game, and McDonald should have come prepared, but the way he pushed at the ball, with his feet all tangled up, made him look pretty much out of his depth.
