Bandwagon really. Haha, well bandwagon is kind of true. Roberts and (IIRC) Bennett talked him up for a while in Bangladesh related threads. Checked the stats and some scorecards, seems a decent talent. Haven't actually *seen* him bat yet, though.
Yeah, Sean just seemed to pick up on him for no apparent reason. He had a really good time in the Dhaka Premier League then made a couple of decent scores for Dhaka in the year I first started the thread, bowled a bit of medium pace. At one point he was in a national pool of some sort (think it was for the 2006 Champions Trophy), but is now more of a fringe domestic player for Dhaka who only gets a game when the internationals are away.

I think the whole thing was kind of encouraged by me emailing Cricinfo when we found they hadn't attributed earlier games played by him to his profile, then by Hakon writing a large Wiki article on him.

Needless to say though, a classy talent. :cool:
