Have to say, it's probably a better way of moderating, deleting the offending posts rather than letting them sit there for everyone to read. Kind of takes the wind out of ones sails.

Wasn't it Patt0 who posted a load of idiotic crap to try to get a 14-dayer so he could study for his exams?

Well, that certainly happened, but I don't know if anyone actually requested a ban specifically stating their reasons beforehand.
