*Official* English Football Season 2008-2009

 . Hater.

Seriously though your right, hopefully if United do the double again this season they can meet River Plate, Sau Paulo or whoever in the final and win..
Well those are the kind of clubs that LDU Quito had to beat to get to Japan - so they're quite clearly not a pub team.

Though as I said, you can only beat what's put in front of you and I didn't hear Sao Paulo complaining about only having to beat sub-standard European opposition in 2005 when they played Liverpool.

Liga were missing their best two players is the story. Might have made it a tighter game, but Man U looked the far better team.

Pennant for Real Madrid?

Does Ramos realise he's not managing Spurs anymore?
My favourite part of that story is that apparently Pennant turned it down because they only offered him £30k per week, whereas he wanted £60k...

Hating man u, i couldn't imagine such a thing:-O

I just threw 2 pound away by betting on Stoke against them, 13.5 just seemed to big odds for a home team in the prem:unsure:

Stoke had better not win, Rooney's captain of my Fantasy League team and I'm rock bottom of our 20-team league. Need United to destroy 'em.

Does seem amazing odds in a two-horse race, particularly at home and against a team who've flown half way around the world for the match. Even as a United fan that'd be worth a flutter.

Would hope I lost my money though, obviously.

Hmm, more in common with a three horse race itbt. Stoke won't even try to win. It's Boxing Day though, anything goes.

Should I laugh at Chesterfield's expense after they were knocked out the FA Cup by Droylsden?
Feel free, particularly with the whole story of that cup tie, and the fact that Droylsden are ****. Nine non-league sides in Round Three now - pretty good going: compared against the last few years (3, 2, 4, 2, 3, 3, 2, 5, 2, 3)...

Dagenham & Redbridge and Farnborough both made Round Four in 2003. Kidderminster were the last non-league side to make round five, in 1994.

So amped for the fourth round, we've got Arsenal away.. Going to the Arsenal supporters club in Port Elizabeth, as not only do my friends support Arsenal but my boss does as well.. The Ginsters FC shirt is going to get a serious soaking when we win..

Some of Wenger's chat this week has been diabolical, he looks like a boy running scared

The great Predrag Mijatovic does the buying for Real. Ramos job is to coach what he is given. Not sure how much Ramos has seen of Pennant anyhow, spent the best part of the year bench warming or injured.

So with Droylsden likely to be thrown out, will that mean Chesterfield will go through instead?

Would be the worst thing in the history of the world if you won. Would make concentration camps seem a slight blot. Luckily the ****ing cornish slime will get thrashed by Arse's kids.

Oh and merry xmas to everyone,

Stoke down to ten-men versus ManUre; wholly unnecessary challenge it was too. Just over quarter of an hour left and they were holding them fairly comfortably.

Chavnaldo has been absolutely dire, so it's inevitable he'll get the winner now. God, I hate football so much. 8-)
