I was including that. NZ-WI runs 2300-0630 and England-India 0400-1130.

I'll be running through some coursework as quickly as possible so i'm free to completely balls up my sleeping habits on time for christmas. Or maybe i could work on it in the lunch breaks. It's times like these i wish i had a multi-screen system going on (at one stage there'll be three tests running at the same time).

On the plus side, we will be having a 12-hour all-night cricketing marathon. I believe at one stage too there'll be SA-Australia overlaps to avoid losing time due to lunchbreaks. If i was a girl i'm pretty sure i'd be wet right now.

Sky Sports 2 and Sky Sports 3 have been around for at least a decade. Even Sky Sports Extra is about 7 or 8 years old now.

The big difference in the last 4 or 5 years has been "the red button".

Sky Sports 2 is over 14 years old and Sky sports 3 over 12 years old. Extra is 9 years old. Sky Sports News is 10 years old and the red button has been in use since 1999 (sky digital is over 10 years old) Of course the earlier interactive stuff was just things like player cam for football...but extra coverage has been around for a good while

Not great news, I am afraid. I haven't even got tickets this time, that is how much worried I am about the weather. It is just hard luck though. The past week has been full of sunshine after Cyclone Nisha passed or weakened or whatever. Now there is another cyclone hovering around.. It came from Sri Lanka and it is around about the Cape Comerin tip right now. Yesterday it rained heavily but today we have had decent sunshine so far.. Fingers crossed and prayers on the lips..

I'd say India should play Yuvraj in the middle as an ODI batsmen because he is fierce against the English. Just tell him to play his natural one day game and we might see some useful quickfire fifties or hundreds from him. Last chance saloon.

If Anderson was dropped for Broad for the second Test, I would dead-set boycott following the match.

It seems we're not going to get much of a First Test so Swann is unlikely to do much, but should by some miracle a full game be played, the Chepauk is supposed to be a turning surface, and Mohali a seaming one. There are of course no guarantees but I myself would be pretty sore to see a three seamers and two fingerspinnners picked ahead of four seamers and a fingerspinner - if the situation was fingerspinners have just bowled well on a turning pitch and we are now seeing a seaming one.

That said, of course, Broad is far from certain to take advantage of a seaming deck but he's a hell of a lot more likely to do so than Swann is.
