Bit harsh on Redmond there Flem, he's been the best of our batsmen this match.

*rant mode* He's doing a Matt Bell. Give him a flat pitch and he can score a fifty, as soon as the bowling is good or there's movement he gets to 10-20 and gets out. I just cannot stand him anymore, I absolutely hate mediocre openers that save their hides on flat pitches on their last chance with a fifty. If he scores against good bowling on a fair wicket to bowlers, I'll be both very happy and in shock, but I doubt it will ever happen.

A lot of things aren't fair, thats sport. I'd drop How too, but he has two things going for him:

a) He has some class and technique, as well as proven ability to score some runs

b) He's from CD.

these commentators on TV really have no idea. McCullum doesn't always play aggressively in tests and thats why he has a reasonably healthy average. They don't research NZ players and make stupid comments. Sick of em. Really need a kiwi commentator. Time for the windies series i think.
