Top knock by Haddin today, now can people shut up about his place in the side? He's been keeping fine and this is what you expect from a Test 'keeper; is the best 'keeper in the country right now and gets the occasional score.

Can't believe there was an Advertiser poll in this morning's edition asking whether Manou should be in the side. Must be kidding.

it's still highly up for debate if he's the best keeper in the country, but at the moment he's the best keeper batsman, and he's batting properly and not whatever he was trying to achieve in india, which was bewildering

mind you india > nz

In all honesty, seriously now, name me a better 'keeper in the country right now? I know QLD are fans of Hartley but I'd say they're pretty close, one going past the other on any given day.

Hads just brings up his 150. Well, I never really liked him but I can't begrudge him such a good knock, admittedly against NZ.

Best keeper batsman? Dhoni is better than him.

from all reports manou is quite sharp, but can't bat for ****, seen ronchi look quite sharp in the one dayers in the WI but i can't vouch that he is better or worse than haddin.

think there's the odd 'backstop' going round at the moment *cough tasmania cough*

like i said earlier, some records at adelaide should be discounted, maybe like a ratio system, 150 against new zealand in adelaide should be worth 60

Glad to see the wheel coming full circle regarding Symonds getting a rough one.

Gutted to see NZ's plight. Bowlers have done what they can on this pitch, but the fielders and batsmen have completely let down them.

Think he meant in Aus.

I know it's been a long day but NZ really have thrown in the towel, sad to see from Test side.

Haddin, if he gets onto more like that pull shot, we're going to see a quick journey from 150-200 here.

Reaching new lows here. Or should that be heights? Depends how you look at it.

Can we withhold match payments on the basis of effort or is that illegal?

yes i in all seriousness want a ratio system to be implemented, fool

ever thought that perhaps there's a reason why now haddin's highest first class score after many first class games has suddenly come in a test against nz in adelaide ?

the PWC world test batting/bowling rankings agree with me

Does batting down the order in the toughest domestic comp in the world have anything to do with it?

Otherwise Ronchi should average 50 omg lolz
