Would prefer it if you didn't refer to Adelaide as part of Australia.Adelaide forecast for tomorrow = Rain.
Whats up with this ****ty Australian weather? Sort it out.
I think thats our strongest possible line up for the Adelaide test so I'm happy. I think Fulton at five isn't such a bad decision, even though there will no doubt be calls to see him at number three, and McCullum moving down the order was clearly necessary. Thank goodness Elliott's gone.
Personally can't see it happening, especially without Jacob Oram in the mix. Ryder's got potential to play a role with the ball in the future but relying on him as a third seamer and only carrying two specialist pace bowlers is too much of a risk IMO. Its not as though the trio of Southee, Martin and O'Brien bowled badly in the first test either.Patel could still play evidently, though I'm happy either way.
Yeah which is why I'm not demanding his place in the team with my fanboy antics. My gentle complacence is my way of saying he shouldn't play I spose.Personally can't see it happening, especially without Jacob Oram in the mix. me**I was gonna say hi...but I figured he gets harassed enough by random people
no sh1t hey, sometimes i wonder how much gobby goes on in those selection meetings, itbaffles me, dean jones went for less, maybe because he wasn't someones fishing buddySymonds heartfelt apology to teammates.
I reckon DHussey/Hodge/Watson/Bollinger/Noffke need to have an emotional crisis to improve their standings.
mate the way merv carried the aussie pace attack in england in '93 is the stuff of legends, on one leg with little help and tough pitches, and a blonde hogging the limelight.Patel generally tries to spin it as far as he can. He gives it a much bigger rip than Vettori.
Havn't seen a whole lot of Siddle, and I never saw Merv Hughes (too young), so I wouldnt know.
perhaps even more reason for fulton at 3 and ryder to drop down if he's going to be doing a fair bit of bowling, i could see him bowling 20+ overs on a flat adelaide road in the heat and then coming in at one for stuff allPersonally can't see it happening, especially without Jacob Oram in the mix. Then maybe we could think about a 4th and a 5th? Would be unprecedented for NZ, but a nice thought.A 3rd Test would be great.
