This might be a better pitch for him to bowl on though, with some uneven bounce.
edit: and a better time also. Not facing Sehwag or Yuvraj in full flow

Rich mate, sometimes I get the impression you'd rather see us lose if it meant the players you don't rate had their stats harmed. And not just in ODIs so don't tell me results don't matter :p

In ODIs, certainly; in Tests, only to a very, very small extent. And it's exclusively to do with long-term concern that I want poor players to get as poor figures as possible.

Practice, presumably.

Much more of this and people will be asking why he's not bowled previously in this series though.
Well, Collingwood has hardly bowled either. Bopara, you'd hope, would've been smashed in the opening couple of games.

It is annoying to see such poor bowling get a maiden though.

That's a couple of deliveries that have kept low.

Another 30 runs or so, and this would have been interesting. Well, if we had an attack, anyway.

Exactly. For some reason, England didnt lose wickets in the last 20 overs yet added at less than 6 per over.

Been keeping low constantly throughout the game. TBH, I thought "batting first could be an advantage" (and I think I posted about it too) early on but it's not really gotten any more regular as the game has progressed.

Swann might have Dhoni stumped, that'd make it interesting.

Thought that were a nick, but awesome call as it's def bat-on-pad.

Also don't think that's out for the stumping either - nine views and we've still no idea.
