Agree with Chappelli. Ponting's been captain long enough to get his way when it comes to selection surely.

I think we need to revamp this middle order of ours. Watson and White are obviously not cutting the mustard. Definitely need to bring in 1 specialist bat and 1 specialist bowler to replace these two, someone who can average at least 40 with bat and a bowler to average under 30. I'd pick David Hussey and Bollinger/Noffke. That way we can have 7 batsmen (including Haddin) and 4 specialist bowlers, a winning combination.

Well i think symmo will help that out. Even though his first class games have been hugely below par. i think his highest score was 19? (dont quote me i just guessin)

It is what Test cricket is about. T20 is ok, but it will never replace Tests for mine.
Im sure most ppl would be happy but the question is what if it had been 46 overs and 90 runs and no wickets?

Thats what turns most people off...

Think he should have a guy close in on the offside. Stops White from just prodding at it.

WTF are the Aussie batsmen doing here, they need to look to attack, i mean seriously if they go down by 1-0 or 2-0 it would hardly make a difference.

Australia' best chance from here is to look to get as close to the 400 mark as quickly as possible and then hope that India fold up cheaply in their 2nd innings, but realistically speaking the series is long gone as far as the Aussies are concerned.
