This should not be enough for him to lose his place, but Rofe has always been a banana skin when it has come to selection with the Redbacks. Was able to see Wise bowl a few overs with the new ball against NSW, however there seemed to be no movement at all. If the way to get players out is to build up pressure, SA are lacking in this department currently. Even on a flat track, the ideal length must be hit, we were too full/short and punished duly.

Yep and they're in real trouble should any of the quicks get injured (Wise, Tait and Cleary are big risks here). All that's left is the rookies, very young fast bowling squad right now. Not necessarily a bad thing, just unknown quantities. SACA should have been a bit more about keeping Harris in SA colours..

He is pretty similar bowler to Stuey Clark and i guess that is something that goes against him, but he can be a good replacement for Clark if gets injured or something.

Yeah not really a fan of not picking a bowler cause he's similar to another good bowler.

As I've said previously he's a chance if we pick 4 pace bowlers and it's a travesty if the selectors seriously consider Siddle a better bowler now then Magoffin who is also showing much improvement with his batting.

Just wondering is it even possible that during the months of July/August where Australia in recent years have played this top end series in Darwin & Carins, could they have been played in the more traditional test venues? Thanks.

Unlikely. The traditional venues are AFL grounds in winter.

Correct. Although you can bet your life on the weather being clear in Darwin every day of winter. I'm sure that also contributes.

I'm a redbacks suporter and I think they have a good team with a lot of potential..but its just so frustrating watching them. Thev've started the season off okay..but their bowling is weak and I haven't seen much of it. Tait looks good but if he dosen't make the break through they seem to struggle, Rofe goes alright..but they don't even play him, I haven't seen much of wise..whats he like? figures are bad, cleary is good on his day..but like won't win the game for you..usually bowls ****. O'brien bowls tidy, I think Cullen is a good spinner..but just continually dissapoints us all..and same as Bailey who was supposed to be the next warne or something. Christian, Harris, Cossie..can all bowl to..not good thou. And theres still so many catches getting droped..and they have some dodgy fielders..tait, wise..cosgrove ect.., Their batting seems to be doing better..Klinger was a good buy, Khan should start scroing now, Harris performing with the bat at the top, O'brien and Manou also chipping in. Manou has been doing that for a while. Fergurson has a lot of talent..hes starting to get 40's now..lets hope he can convert them into big scores, They should get rid of Plant for sure..Put christian in and when Cosgrove gets back to full form get him in striaght away..because he can be destructive. And if somenbody gets injured or something put Borgas in as a replacement. They have lost some names thou..fancy letting Ryan harris go... they don't have many bowling replacements either, And who is Tom Cooper I heard he was the top batter for the AUS u19 team, It's mainly just stupidy..throwing wickets away, the fielidng, the board, and sometimes the captaining..like they bowled Cleary in the ford ranger last week and it was the last 5 overs..and he was bowling **** that day..instead of wise I think it was..who bowled better..cleary ended up getting belted..lucky Tait was firing. Lets hope they have some young talent coming through. SA can win the comp in one of the forms..if there at there best i reckon..

They both are crap tbh and don't deserve to be anywhere near a FC side, i think the Redbacks are much better off playing with 4 quicks, but unfortunately if i am not wrong i think Dan Cullen is still in the Redbacks FC squad for their next game.

Anyways good to see Symmo finally scoring some runs today..

Obrien a better spinner then both Cullens. Wise, Rofe, Cleary and Tait could do a better job then them. I doubt Cullen dropped from the squad unless it was for Bailey as the next best seamers are Christain and Crosgrove.

Yeh checked out cricinfo cullen dropped,3 wkts in 2 games gone for a hatful of runs.
That means only 2 state sides are picking specialist spinners for their sides,NSW hauritz and casson,tassie doherty.Altho tassie could well drop doherty and play an exra batsmen and play butterworth at 8,their batting so far has stunk.
