Oh, and has anyone got a link to some footage of where Watson insitgated the whole elbow thing? I've only seen 1 angle at normal speed and it didn't look like he'd done a thing there.

He certainly had something to say to Gollum as he went past, and made a gesture towards him, though I haven't seen it more than once on replay. It looked like he made some move towards him then kind of pulled out of it.

Wasn't particularly edifying to either of them tbh.

Yeah, it's kinda sad how quickly everyone is to jump on Ponting at this point. If anything it dilutes real criticisms of his behaviour, because it just reads as "another person complaining about Ponting". The guy makes a perfectly innocent remark which should have been evident as such to the author (assuming he read the comment in context), and it results in a lengthy, scathing article.

Wow. That's a shocking article by Suresh Menon then. What a tool.

Actually I probably would have taken that statement on face value had it not come from Mr. Suresh Menon. Those who have read his articles know it very well the kind of hypocrite and Idiot he is.

Looking at that it appears to me Watson pulled his arm out of the way, but another angle would prob give a better idea. Still seems no doubt it was Watson who initiated the incident in a verbalk sense.

From what I can see, Katto and Gambhir acted like tools but in the Watson incident, both batsmen and bowler just held their ground, Watson walking back down the pitch and Gambhir in coming back for another run. Reckon Watto thinks Ghambir should have gotten out of his way which is what batsmen generally do but they don't have to. Would think Watto thought Gambhir just ran into him to annoy him, surely influenced by the earlier confrontation.

The Hindu, Which ,IMO, isf the most reputable newspaper in India reports Bedi-Ponting issue very correctly and it is very clear that If anything Ponting was npt being disrespectful but just genuinly ignorant about Bedi's presense but wasn't insulting or mocking his presence as was made out by Mr. Menon.

“I have no clue as to how he came around. I was training and Bishan was there. I think he spoke to Jason (Krejza) and a lot of positive stuff came out of it.....Bishan had some good things to say about Jason after the session and it must be good for his confidence. All in all, I think it was a worthwhile experience and it might happen again at some stage.”

After the seeing the video.... although Watson may have intiated the verbal but what Gambhir did was pretty wrong. Should really get fined or suspended.
Katich was such a tool... Gambhir wasn't much better either.
Looks like Aus tried every dirty trick in their book to break Gambhir's concentration but couldn't get him out. Hope he goes onto make a double no wonder he was so ecstatic when he scored the 100.

Kumble's WAY more accurate than White, however.
