***Official Australia in India***

Cricket, Lovely Cricket
So far in this match :-
  • India 783 runs for 13 wickets (60 runs per wicket) at over 4 runs per over
  • Australia 426 runs for 18 wickets (23.67 per wicket) at 2.7 runs per over

Remarkable considering their respective world rank and that both are actually playing alternatively on the same track !!

Amazing how much difference the toss can make !!

Depends on the view you use i.e. number of posts per page. I, also, was on teh 404th page at the time of that post.
Yeah, but what's the significance?

Clarke's batting here a rare highlight for us in this match. Good to see him getting some form at least.

I'm guessing but I assume it's because the forum database died temporarily. As in 'Error 404, page not found'.

EDIT: haha I'll shut up.

Pnottath: Saying 'duh' all the time at stuff which is only obvious to you is really obnoxious.

If this was in Australia, there is a big case for several changes to the team
As it stands, there wont be and my pre-series prediction of 3 - 0 looks increasingly likely
Any word yet on who Jaques' replacment would be?

Mind you, he's done this before against India in Perth. It's when the game is really on the line that Aus need more from him.

True, but still good effort from him and should do his confidence a world of good going into the 3rd test.

Even if India manage to win this one somehow, we can kiss our 20-year streak at FirozShah Kotla sweet goodbye.

India have to do something about this partnership and fast. If they don't, they'll win by less than 300 runs.

Cant criticise Clarke for this effort it's not his fault that wickets are faaling like nine pins at the other end

BTW, good to see Johnson showing up the top order - this is till a good wicket and there is absolutely no excuse for Australia's position
