The "big picture" on cricinfo for the Eng v Zim one day game was this:

I cant get my head around it!

Where is Taibus head?

Also, it appears that half of his body is facing towards the batsman (see gloves) and the other half is facing the third man boundary (see feet). Also, one of his feet appears to be IN FRONT of the stumps as hes diving!

Whats going on???

Doesn't look confusing to me. Looks like he's diving along the side of the pitch, to take a throw from a fielder.

I still cant see that....

Perhaps the caption confused me.... "Tatenda Taibu dives to gather a wild return, Zimbabwe v England, 1st ODI, Harare, November 28 2004"

Also, could someone please explain to me where his head is!

Ahh!

I see it all now!

I see his head, covered by his hat - I thought it was partof his shirt.

I see that he REALLY IS infront of the stumps there, and he is in fact along side of the pitch, not behind the stumps.

The human is a fascinating animal. Perhaps one of its most incredible features is that its head is actually attached to its neck! :p

Yeh, when i first looked at that picture, his head didn't stand out, but it wasn't hidden.

I actually thought the peak on the left was his shoulder, and the face to other shoulder area was a gaping hole, in which his head had been removed from.

This was caused by the fact that I thought he was stretching out behind the stumps, when in fact he was 90 degrees from where I thought he was.

For all the not-completely-unjustifiable talk of "throwing stuff", I think this possibly may count as the finest moment of the "youthful Cribb".

His head is visible hidden by the cap, and he's probably on the side of the pitch, trying to collect a wild throw, thats why his legs are in front of the stumps. This photo is taken from somewhere near the long on, assuming batsman is a righthander.

It appears to me to be taken from about cover-point...is that how everyone else sees it?

lol but seriously, what was up with young Cribb.....he didn't even know where the head was located on the human body...
