Nothing wrong with the bounce IMO. The bowlers have got lift when they've bent their backs and it's been very consistent.

It's slow, true and hasn't moved an iota which has made it pretty damn poor, but I don't think bounce has been an issue.
Yeah true, but as you said its slowish so a bowler can't really hurry a batsmen into a shot, and then there is no movement either through the air or off the deck, virtually making it a batsmen' paradise, but when compared to the kind of bounce one normally sees on this venue, the carry hasn't been that good, mind you the curator already confessed that he wasn't able to prepare the wicket as well as he would have liked due to the weather.

Would still expect them to get above 300 without too much trouble. Probably won't get to where they'd have expected considering conditions. A lot depends on Sachin- the poorest run-scorer in the batting lineup in fairly-recent history, but also the most talented batsman.

Indian fans to storm the pitch if/when Sachin breaks the record today.

EDIT: If I have to listen to Mike Coward for 5 more minutes I'll go nuts :@

Kinda surprised the ABC have just 4! people doing their coverage, even for an overseas tour. Worst coverage from them I've heard in quite a long time.
