I agree with that, but I don't think Ponting will declare with a lead of only 270.
Yeah as an opposition captain you would always have the 'Sehwag factor' in the back of your mind in that if he could stay in for any lengh of time he would eat into any required run rate

As Harby lost a bit as bowler? Always remember him having the big turning off spinner which made the delivery that straightend all the more dangerous.

But can't really remember him turning too many at all in the full series in Australia or this match.

Yep. Ponting is normally fairly conservative and even leaving that aside, there's no reason to declare so early as to risk a loss. The pitch isn't that poor for batting yet. Anything under 300 is possibly chasable, especially with an injured bowler and no Warne, so yeah, no declaration tonight.

It'll be tomorrow, and the lead will have to be 350ish.

With all due respect SJS, I don't think Yuvraj is "far more talented" than some of the guys being championed today.

I've always maintained that Yuvraj's talent was overhyped....the fact that he got so many chances and yet players like Mazumdar, Dharmani, Kaif and Badri never got a fair chance is something that can happen only in India.
Politics is rife in Indian cricket - you want know why Australia are a better team. Its not because Australia have vastly superior talent to India - its because they have a cricketing culture and system that fosters and rewards excellence.
That is something India sadly lacks.

Good appeal by Zaheer must have been watching Brett Lee

Similer to how Hayden got out a lot in 2005 ashes LBW playing around his front pad. Obviously against the right handers bowling around the wicket though.
