Two assists for Arteta...wooop.

That ought to make it 48 points for this week so far fantasy league wise, hopeully could go even higher if Bentley gets in on the act tomorrow.

I've got Yakubu and Arteta...result. Just brought Arteta in last week, as well. Defoe got me a couple this week as well, and Fabregas got me 10 points somehow (guess it must have been assists or something, plus he was my captain), so it's been a good week for me, and that's with Ferdinand and Evra relegated to the bench due to the quality of their opposition this week.

I got 48 points also only thanks to Arteta's 20 points as captain. Was going very shocking before today.

Just got rid of Ashton and bought in Walcott, hopefully he plays enough minutes and does well.

Then why not buy a young full back and groom in that role when Gary Neville is meant to come back from his various injuries.
We did, he's being loaned out to Blackburn at the moment though. Got some young Brazilian chap who plays there and seems good enough for the odd game, though, so it may be that we get him playing.

Personally wish Neville would just retire already, as harsh as that might be. Don't think he has the legs in him anymore to be much more than a waste of valuable experience-gaining time for the younger options.

EDIT: And yeah, had Arteta and Yakubu for some time now (possibly since the start, now that I think about it) and they've bagged me many points, even while the rest of Everton seem to be failing.

Alex is arguably a better defender than Terry.
Although Alex is very solid piece of work indeed, can't see anything he has done to suggest he is all-round a better defender than JT. Thats like saying Boumsong is better than Mexes just because he's bigger..

International Coach
Terry is turning slower than the QE2 at the moment and has looked pretty poor for the past six months. Alex in contrast has been excellent and nigh on faultess when given the opporuntity to play. I don't think many Chelsea fans will be losing too much sleep now that JT is out.
Should probably be worried about this, but I agree with Aussie.

As for Giggs, I'll take your word for it.

EDIT: Actually no I won't, just seen a bit of it; he wasn't good, and was at fault for their winner as well.

Your Goalkeepers are utter dross. A 40 year old David James?! Have we not learnt from Seaman in 2002?.
Ha, fair point could say the same about Shilton once heard a big man say if a certain Chris Woods was in goal ENG would have won Italia 90.

Green/Hart + one of Kirkland/Foster/Martyn/Christ anyone, not like we'll use them.
Foster at least if he gets solid season. But really no keeper in the land is WC really, so if James stays solid @ Pompey its going to be hard for him to lose the #1 spot.

Agbonlahor needs to be in that squad, ahead of Ashton probably.
Kept Gabby out of the the best 23 because i feel Heskey will (and should) become a key first team player as the target man, so in case he gets injured he needs a back-up thus Ashton.

Muamba for Carrick, because he's talented, better than Carrick and mainly because it'll wind you up.
Ha, Seriously though i don't disagree that he is more talented, reminds of of Vieira everytime i see him play.

Yeah, he set the 06 WC on fire
What were the events on Rooney leading up the WC?. No one in their right mind can tell back in 06, before the Ronaldo incident the there was any major qualms about Rooney's international goal-scoring record.

Norwood's on Fire
Don't think he'd scored a competitive goal since Euro 2004 cbf to look it up though, maybe someone else can confirm or deny this allegation

Well yes, I would have signed a new right back, either that or not loaned Simpson out (who along with Evans is probably the first real prospect we've had out of our academy in a while, and IMO could cut it).

Had a rethink of the GKs i'd take, James/Hart/Carson, who i'd start would depend hugely on form between now and then and if WBA stay up i imagine.

Hart overrated for mine
AWTA, every time I see him play it seem's he's spilt a load of crosses or shots, got time on his side with regards to future improvement, but at the moment I wouldn't say he's good enough to play for any of the top premiership teams on a regular basis, nor for England as a matter of fact.

Actually two of those named are rubbish IMO, and James is old and, while not rubbish like he used to be, overrated.

When he played for us there was nothing which made you go, "wow, future England keeper there!" whereas when Simonsen played for us it seemed obvious he was England material and he never even got close :(

Nothing I've seen of Hart since suggests he is THAT good either. The GK position is in danger of becoming like the left-sided issue of the 90s when James retires
