Well, are you going to keep either or both of them long-term?

If you're planning on selling one, give the net to t'other.

If you're going to keep both, I'd stick it on Arthurton for a season or so, then put it on Kidd until his cons matches his bowling.

Nothing much to report at my training ground -- consistency pop for Buckley (now Qual/Superb bowling) and fielding (up to Proficient) for Mulryne.

Mulryne's batting (Qual) is still two almost two full levels ahead of his conc (Strong)...he's 18yo still, so he's going to be Jonty Mk II by the time it catches up!

Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
Decided to have a go at the top First Class team as not much else is happening this week. Dismissed them for 238, scored 359 in reply and am bowling again. Just noticed 2 player's fitness levels have returned to sublime after an innings at bat and a day in the field...they're decent bats too, it's a bit annoying and I can see why some people complain about battrick now

Figure I should have a go at this again. Someone link me to a tool that helps with the training and stuffsies.

Got up!

Rattled off the 158 needed after dismissing West Coast Eagles CC for 279 this morning losing two wickets in the process. Good win against a team I've struggled against, even though I'm still not going to win the FC league.

Highlights:

* Nkosinathi remaining unbeaten in both innings again against these guys with 178* (175b) in the first and 53* (49b)in the second (bringing up his 50 and ending the match with a 4 off the last ball of the over. He averages about 250 against this team.

* O'Grady taking 6/57 in the first innings...he's a bit of a toiler.

* None of their batsmen reached 100 in either innings...3 or 4 of them are averaging around the 200 mark I think for the season.

* Opening partnership of 80 between Farrell and Duncan set us up in the second dig.

Supports of Coco's Nuts can now look forward to Sunday's big clash with Asterix when a team made up of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th team members as well as 3 members of the ladies auxilliary and the groundskeeper bus it down their home ground to get their rings handed to them on a dirty platter.

Bobisback

International Regular
End of Over 1: 7-1, runrate=7.00, reqrunrate=5.55 (278-9)
Vosloo 1-0-7-1
Wilkinson* 3 (3 balls)
Stonebridge 3 (3 balls)
Last Wicket: Danie c. Flint b. Vosloo 0 (FOW: 0/1)

Lost Danie first ball. Didnt want another last weekend effort anyway. Big chase, if i win i push up into top 4. Really need it.

Bobisback

International Regular
4.4 4 Vosloo to Stonebridge
With a flick of the wrists worthy of the sub-continent, Stonebridge finds the gap for four.

First Boundary. Only took 28 balls on a H&F pitch and sunny day.

Bobisback

International Regular
20.3 1 Charlton to Beaumont
Beaumont has picked the gap and they'll run a single.

Takes Beaumont to 57, his highest score this season. In 12 innings. Poor.

Bobisback

International Regular
23.2 W Sainsbury to Stonebridge
A quick delivery and Stonebridge is left looking back at his stumps. He's gone!

Noooooooooo! Was expecting Beaumont to fall about now. Gone.
