You sucked really bad yesterday Stedders, so good.
Will I be seeing you at Leeds Fest this year?

stormin'Gale, what a gun.
I'm very much to be convinced Rashid would do any better a job currently than Swann would do. Swann certainly isn't a bowler I'd expect to be anything particularly phenomenal at Tests, no more than MSP is, but frankly he's earned a go. There's far less to lose by playing Swann now than there would be Rashid, and there's little more to gain by Rashid playing instead of Swann because, as I say, if there's any difference it's not much.England needs a second spinner for India and if Rashid is up against the likes of Swann, Tredwell et cetera I know I’ll rather have Rashid in my squad than those two.
Tredwell is a nothing bowler and Swann despite doing a decent job for England thus far, isn't much better.
I think so. Didn't bother getting a ticket because I assumed it would clash with the Challenge Cup final again, but it's a weekend earlier this year. Anyway, a mate realised he's on holiday at the time so he said he'd sell me his ticket. Don't entirely trust that the **** won't turn around and sell them on ebay first, though. Waiting until they're in my hands. You sucked really bad yesterday Stedders, so good.

Its terrible - anyone know how we can prevent Zaremba getting on this thread later?Has Cork thrown in the towel already? He's only got through 9 overs in Yorkshire's innings so far - Keedy has 28, du Plessis and Croft have had a few as well. Not looking good here, we seem to like giving Yorkshire plenty of runs at OT.
Agree entirely. Swann will keep it tight and give the option to spin the ball the other way.Id go with Swann. I think he gives control and takes it the other way to MSP.
To throw an average and inexperinced spin bowler into a tour to the subcontinent isnt the wisest move IMO.
Just in case Bennett's frost-efrass-frippery has confused anyone - was referring to 2 batsmen simualtaneosly on 99*.
See Yorkshire batsmen scoring runs every week, obviously. Unless it rains.
If it makes you feel better, this is the worst Yorkshire team Ive ever seen.yeah look, litttle to be positive coming out of OT this year. The club seems to be worse than England in a selectorial sense. The bowling attack is just completely middle of the road now and the batting has been poor. Then you have Law saying he wanted to keep Cork, jeez the guys already been going on 2 years to long and hampering the development of the younger players. If it wasn't for having Anderson and Flintoff for the first few games of the year we'd be relegation candidates. We'll also be lucky if we don't lose Smith at the end of the year, or maybe they aren't bothered but the guy gets sent out on loan, does well, gets recalled and plays one LO game where he is the best bowler then gets left out again. wtf. Wish Mahmood would get released as well as Cork. Marshall leaving is understandable, he was probably our best T20 bowler and holds his own in OD cricket but he wasn't getting the opportunities in FC cricket. We really need to sort our ideas out because we're playing on wickets still suited for when we had Murali and Keedy is bowling poorly at the moment /rant
