Pretty much started following football in early 90s. My grandfather was a die-hard Broncos man, and I swear he'd send down a flurry of lightning bolts in my direction if I were to support another side. Not that he has to worry. Love the team.

Super week for Simon who bags a bonus for a full-house & 99* only falls down on the Knights (ironically his pick in the Last Man Standing). Shockers from Clapo & me. WRT to morgieb, I accpeted his tips for the last 3 games as they were made before KO, but gave him the lowest score (Clapo's 2 ftr) for the first 5 games as it doesn't seem fair for someone to benefit from late tips.

Seriously, what a waste. I'm all for supporting the right of football players to get drunk and slightly ragged in public like everyone else is allowed to. However, when you urinate on a person's leg (unless that leg happened to be on fire) then it's crossing the line. Such a shame - a $400 000/year contract, up in smoke.

It's an interesting situation, I've heard from some mates that were there that night that there isnt a whole lot in the incident and because it's Todd Carney it's been blown out of proportions. TBH they aren't the most reliable sources and are Raiders supporters so who knows. If he's proven guilty he will be sacked, I actually think he won't go to England yet if that happens, he needs to sort himself out. Will probably go back to Goulburn and he can do all the burnouts and get drunk as much as he likes.

I think if he's sacked the NRL will de-register him, meaning England or Union or Goulburn are his only options.
Although theres actually a bit of talk around here this afternoon he might play this weekend as police will annouce this evening or tomorrow that no investigation will go ahead.
