Wasn't the Roosters-Bulldogs game live on radio. What if your listening to a match live on radio and want to comment on it. Do we have to wait due to the fact that fox or nine might be delaying it. Pretty stupid really. Granted Jakester went over the top, but doesn't mean you can't post scores about when you might be listening on the radio to a game.
Naa Radio coverage is the same as the channel 9 game.

No, it's the same as C9.

EDIT: Beaten to it.

STGI Dragons 26 - GC Titans 22.

Geez how bad was Jeffery under the high ball? That is one of the worst efforts I have seen in first grade in all my years of watching ARL/Super League/NRL. Dire. And Jordan Atkins wasn't much chop either, showing that perhaps scoring 4 tries on debut will be as good as it gets for him.

I have no problem with score updates, like I said, the stuff with the Panthers-Broncos game was fine and I have no problem with him posting about it and discussing it. My problem was with the updating of the delayed game, and even then I stopped after the 2nd time when he refused to stop updating. It's un-neccesary for mine, especially on the delayed games. I should be able to discuss the live game without fear of having the score in the other game told to me.

How would you like it if Ray Warren and Phil Gould discussed the score in the other game whilst the Panthers-Broncos were on? I realise they're somewhat different, but still.
Still have no problem if it's a delayed game. I make sure I've watched the game before I go anywhere near news coverage, or sports internet sites, and certainly won't come into an NRL thread if I haven't seen the game already. What if you're at the game with your laptap and you want to talk about it? I know it would be pretty lame to do so, but we shouldn't stop people from doing it.

This is an NRL thread to discuss the NRL and if there are two games on at the one time we should be able to talk about it.

In other news Souths looking good to avoid the wooden spoon. Would be so gun, if the Bulldogs got the wooden spoon properly this time. Manly are right where they belong on the table.

If he wants to post the scores up though, we really don't need 30 two line posts saying nothing but "Panthers try, 12-12". Was my main gripe.

Too lazy to scroll down? :p

It's happened plenty of times before. Can remember Simon and I pretty much commentating on a Phillipousis match at Wimbledon one year. Happens all the time in the cricket threads. It's a non-issue as far as I'm concerned. Smith just looking for some attention.

The issue here is that he's not actually adding a point to his posts. Stating the score and then saying how typical/unexpected it is of team X is fine - the score accompanies a point. Merely stating the score every time it changes serves no purpose though.

AWTA

In cricket chat there is actually a discussion of what is happenin on field, not 30 straight two line posts telling us exactly what we're either seeing or listening to. Completely different situations for mine.

The last 30 seconds of that game was a farce. Honestly a scrum penalty after the siren and then the Cowboys kicking it out too close to the goal line to give themselves a reasonable shot at field goal. Would have been awesome if it didnt mean Souths winning.

Feel sorry for the Tigers fans. They have such a talented "Big 4" in Farah, Benji, Hodgson and Head but their pack sucks so much.

In other news, didn't Cooper Cronk give it bloody everything today. Left it all on the park.

Take away the points lost from Origin games when the reserve grade team has been playing, Melbourne would be 4 points ahead, not to worry, the Sea Eagles will probably go down to the Titans at Skilled next week anyway.

In other news: One big storm in a tea cup. I just don't understand why Tony Butterfield would become accredited in the first place and problem solved. He could still be Sean Rudder's agent without having other players as clients if he doesn't want to. Must be lacking something in Newcastle eh?

He is becoming a accedited manager, but they don't hand it out overnight these days.

Also good luck with Titans winning any match in the next couple weeks with Ben 'butterfingers' Jeffrey on the wing. Worth about four tries per game, now everyone knows how crap he is under the high ball.

If it was at Brookvale then Manly would be unbackable favourites for mine, but it isn't, so the Titans have a decent bet IMO, if Mat Rogers goal kicking had been better then it would have gone to extra time.
