Can't talk to a player about a contract until he's passed on the incumbent club or the club has passed on him. And you certainly can't offer him a contract before time. It was stated explicitly tbh.

If these players become active again, they can only:

1. Be signed to their old contract at the incumbent club.
...or...
2. Be offered to all clubs.

Such players will not be subject to the draft order, in other words.

The financial changes ahead of Season XIV are as follows:

1. The salary cap has been reduced from 64 to 60, after analysis of a financial report on Season XIII spending. This should still allow teams to sign a reasonable squad.
2. Banked points (ie, those remaining from last season's contracts) are considered as 20+banked = 5 Season XIV points, 15-19 = 4, 10-14 = 3, 5-9 = 2, 1-4 = 1.
3. Each title and trophy earns a team 2 points. Thus CW Black won 6 extra points last season, and CW Blue won 2.

CW Colts - 60 + 4 = 64
CW Green - 60 + 5 = 65
CW Red - 60 + 2 = 62
CW Blue - 60 + 5 + 2 = 67
CW Black - 60 + 2 + 6 = 68

Remaining funds:

CW Colts - 64 - 45 = 19
Expenses: 45 contract points

CW Green - 65 - 36 = 29
Expenses: 36 contract points

CW Red - 62 - 42 = 21
Expenses: 42 contract points

NG Scott, R Malone, CP Raftery, J Gonzalez and S Reddy are all being offered contract by Green. IIRC Reddy and Gonzalez can only be offered 1 year contracts, so that's what's being put out there. Malone a 5 year contract. Raftery a 3 year and Scott a 4 year. In other words, the maximum if I've got the years wrong. To be confirmed by Corrin.

Interesting if I stayed at Blue that would mean they would have 13 points to sign 19 points worth of players. Would basically force a couple players out of club. Not very fair on those guys.

Anyway considering Mat away on holidays. Can I just announce I'm signing a three year contract with Green and who over is taking over the leadership short term can confirm it.

I don't expect a few of the Blue sophomores to return tbh. Not on recent form, anyway.

CW Blue would like to offer S Young and G Sriram 5 year contracts. View both of these players as critical long term players.

CW Blue would like to offer Manan Shah a 2 year contract (maximim possible for the ratings). Manan is also viewed as a long term Blue player.

CW Blue would like to offer Morgie (Burridge) a 1 year contract to give him the opportunity to prove himself.
