Hitters?

Only one hitter in the Kent lineup really, unless you count McLaren, who wasn't even sent in. If Kemp doesn't do it, no-one remarkable around.
I was counting McLaren. And Azhar Mahmood, who is more than capable of giving it some humpity. Even Geraint can have a meaningful slog from time to time.

Can't say I've ever seen it. Mahmood will do occasionally, true - even did it at ODI level a few times, though admittedly that was against England so it barely counts. But even so, he's hardly Lance Klusener.

Not necessarily, if say Arafat scored 50 from 30 balls at the end of the innings people wouldn't say that doesn't deserve a mention because he isn't considered a batsman.

Hardly outstanding is it?

It's unusual enough for someone batting as low as he usually does to have that good an average anyway, but I highly doubt he's ever played much of a OD innings in his career.

Anyway in reply to Kent Trescothick's wretched form this season continues - in 6 innings he's now managed a sum-total of 47 runs. Perhaps it wasn't so bad after all that he retired from ODIs. And that might well be his last innings in proper OD cricket this year unless his team-mates chase this 260.

129 wanted off the last 20 - kinda wish I'd gone now. I'd be there by now and I probably would've got in for nothing at this time of day.

Good stuff from Kent today - should win from here. Dexter continues to state a claim for selection in all forms of the game.

Kieswetter's dismissal should be the final nail in the coffin - his best innings to date by some margin that.

You may not be a fan of Yasir with the bat Richard, but he continues to do a good job with the ball.

8-2-23-3 = pretty darn good figures

Oh, yeah, he's certainly far from the worst bowler you'll see. Bowls a few too many no-balls sometimes and isn't the tallest, but certainly has a decent bit going for him. Azhar isn't awful either.
