Gun. I'd put him on bowling training rather than all-rounder though. He's already got good power, seam specialist and he's fast.

My YP got fired.

1 16yo bat to average
2 technique pops
1 endurance pop

All of my youth players except 4 are at least ordinary endurance now.

Decent youth pull for me:

Average bowling, but atrocious technique. Average fielding and ordinary keeping. And only 16 years old

I've got him on 'bowling technique' training. Should be a top player for me in the future.

Yeah I changed him to bowling training after I posted that. Already have a decent all-rounder in my senior team but need a decent out and out fast bowler.

Got a mail from the NT manager though, two of my players are in line for a possible NT call up.

First FTP hattrick.

10.3 W Ridings to Hill : Tossed up on the middle and off stump line, the ball grips the surface and turns back in. Hill realises too late and although it strikes high on the pad, the umpire has no hesitation in raising his finger.
N. Hill lbw b. A. Ridings 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00
10.2 W Ridings to Bowman : [catch] Ridings strikes! It was outside the off stump, Bowman a bit lazy with the drive through the off side, gets the edge through to Shelley behind the wicket, who takes the catch at a comfortable height.
P. Bowman c C. Shelley b. A. Ridings 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00
10.1 W Ridings to Brittain : Brittain goes for the drive and ends up hitting it in the air towards point. He didn't get his foot to the pitch of the ball but went through with the shot. Stevens swoops forward and takes it inches from the ground.
E. Brittain c M. Stevens b. A. Ridings 15 (17b 1x4 0x6) SR:88.24

Had Boyd Gibbs called up to the England NT squad, nice.

Got 2 youths who're near certainties to be called up to SL and Scotland whenever that comes around.

Was worried about my Twenty20 game today - posted 136 in humid conditions against the last remaining human team. However, one man stood up.

W. Newstead 4-0-4-5

So in the past two seasons, he has 32 Twenty20 wickets @ 4.87

 End of over 17 (18 runs) - Swamibapa CC(148-4) RR 8.71
B. Saitoti 0 (0b) , B. Gama Pinto 22 (14b) , M. Harvey 3-0-39-1
16.6	W	Harvey to Saitoti : Short of a good length delivery on the stumps, Saitoti makes room and takes a swing. The ball clips the top edge and balloons up towards mid-on.
G. Saitoti c X. McRae b. M. Harvey 25 (9b 4x4 1x6) SR:277.78
16.5	4	Harvey to Saitoti : Saitoti flicks it off his hips for 4
16.4	2	Harvey to Saitoti : Ooooh. Just wide of the fielder at cover and they run 2.
16.3	4	Harvey to Saitoti : Full, on a length, on the stumps but Saitoti, as he does, backs away to the leg side and knifes it on the up over extra cover.
16.2	4	Harvey to Saitoti : Short, wide and despatched to the fence. 4 runs.
16.1	4	Harvey to Saitoti : Saitoti pokes tentatively at it, but theres a thick outside edge that drops just short of slip and runs away for four.
End of over 16 (8 runs) - Swamibapa CC(130-3) RR 8.12
B. Gama Pinto 22 (14b) , G. Saitoti 7 (3b) , S. Crook 4-0-31-1
15.6	.	Crook to Gama Pinto : [great fielding] Hill moves in quickly to cutoff any chance of a single.
15.5	1	Crook to Saitoti : Pushed away through extra cover for a comfortable single.
15.4	.	Crook to Saitoti : A wild swing but he can't connect. All sizzle and no sausage.
15.3	6	Crook to Saitoti : That's gone like a tracer bullet over the fence at extra cover.
Blazing little cameo from the youger Saitoti...

In other news I have 5 players in the national team which is by all means enourmous right now...

No NT players, was sort of hopeful but I guess the reilable+ is NT standard.

I played the same side as I did on Friday. I rest more players in this Twenty20 match and I won today match and lost Friday's OD match. Not sure if it is sign that difference between playing players with good fatigue and poor fatigue. Or just the fact your can get away with resting more players in Twenty20. Underfeated and coming first in Twenty20, not sure if I should focus more on that form. Will probably just play half a season and decide,

Majin

International Debutant
Had a good start to the T20 keeping them under 3 an over but at the tail end of the innings it's all gone to pot, really need to get some proper bowlers for my senior team or I'm going to struggle for a while I think.

Had a decent youth pull though so it's not all bad
