Just joined this yesterday, got assigned a team today. Having a match right now as well, going pretty good guns against some computer team.

best thing is I got my mate to sign up as well and our teams are in the same league for EVERYTHING so there will be some epic banter and rivalries going on.
Good luck. :) Dai-Gurren Brigade?

There's a CW Championship for this too, if you wish to join it.

Cheers man, and yeah that's me. :) Will have a look at the CW championship, try and get involved once I know what I'm doing with FTP.

Union Bears reach 297/2 at the end of the innings. Going to be close one I fell. Might just fall short.

Rattled up all of 400 in our first innings, great showing from us. Now just hope the bowling (easily my weaker area) can do the job.

Indeed twas. Rating of 78,748 not sure how that compares to the rest of the teams on here but it's up 7,000 from my first league game.

Had them down at something like 85-5 at one point but got dicked by their #7 and the tail wagged and we let them score far too many runs and ended up only winning by 122 runs. As I thought bowling will be a problem.

My young allrounder looks like he's going to be a star for me though, Smashed 68 off 40odd balls and then took 3-31 from his ten overs, very happy with the way he looks.

Hey Dan reckon you should just sign up and we will keep you on the waiting list. Hopefully we will be able to expand our Division Two next season, about 5-6 weeks away.

I definitely need to get me some more specialist bowlers, currently got a dude playing specialist bat at #8 because I have no one else to go there, lawl.

I could justifiably have a specialist bat/fielder at 10 for my first XI and have done a few times. Have 4 all-rounders, the worst batsman among them is an average-average with capable experience and finisher talent.

Just noticed that I had a captaincy pop on Thursday or maybe it was Friday, pretty gun captaincy pops. That makes up for the extra stamina hits for captains IMO.

Cruised through to the next round in the Cup. Got some tough teams in my quarter tho, who seem to be seam orientated - a home draw would be key.
