hmmm...... personal insults again. Can't u ever do anything better? 8-)

And its too late to be taking the moral high ground, my friend, esp. after all those insults.
i m asking you to talk to hand .... not taking any higher ground here. in fact i have tolerated your non-sense for far too long

and it's you who has been trolling against me, sometimes twisting my posts in the last few threads, after I kicked your ass on the Tendulkar issue

get a life sore loser

So Shaun Marsh is only supposed to be making $50k for his appearance at the IPL...surely they would pay him more than that now given his ridiculous performances?

Why? He has been signed for three years - they are getting a great deal. If he remains outside of the Australian international side and can play a full season again next year, he will be worth a lot to the franchise - they may just sell him for mucho dinero. Of course, he has been playing so well that they'd try to keep him unless some other franchise stepped in and offered a million dollars for him or something.

And yeah, Tendulkar is a great captain, as can be seen by how he didn't bowl out Pollock and ended up losing that game.

What an innings by Sourav!!!

But have to say, Gul was the man who changed it all. Almost got the feeling Sourav got his confidence after watching Gul smash them all over. :) Amazing game...

Who will open the innings for Rajasthan? Smith will sit out with a hamstring injury. We don't know if they'll give Justin Langer a game here.

Is it time to reintroduce Shane Watson? Maybe, since Smith is sitting out and Langer not too likely to come in. They may even be tempted to play Mahesh Rawat, as he's more likely to get a game than Kamran Akmal in the semis and beyond, so he needs a few runs.

Any chance of Sohail Tanvir batting higher up? Worth a watch. A few wickets for Pankaj Singh will do him a lot of good, and he'll be a good option then for later matches- with Trivedi not likely to force too many wickets and Munaf likely to break down any moment.

As for the Indians, whom do they play? Dilhara or Dwayne? With the Rajasthan batting so strong, they may get in the Lankan pacer, to counter the Swapnil-Shane-Yusuf-Kamran attack. And which bits-and-pieces player will play? Dinesh Salunkhe almost handed over the match to Chennai, while Chitnis and Yelligati were out of place in that last match. Rohan Raje is likely to return, while Rajesh Pawar, clearly a lot more useful, still has to wait.

Langer is not playing this IPL season, he is captaining Somerset in the county championship.

I would think Watto will play, and Akmal will open.

Guys, just cut out the childish behaviour, you're both way above this sort of stuff.

I hope Nel plays... I am looking forward to seeing him and his bursting veins.

This is a really good day of cricket. I am hoping England wrap it up just in time for me to turn over and watch the T20, then flick back onto Sky to watch Australia go down. That would be perfect :)

can't believe that MI have wasted 4 of the powerplay overs :@

16 after 4 overs [is it an ODI 8-) ] .... don't know why are the trying to stay on the back-foot when the pitch is keeping low

28 after 6

yes this is a two paced wkt but i would have expected something around 50 at the end of the powerplay

What is your opinion on Sanath's innings so far? Looks very scratchy.
he looked off color today .... appeared as if he had a plan but the Royals didn't let him execute that .... should have stepped it on and got out trying to get 20 in an over in the powerplay than scratch around and then get out. though if he had used the crease well, he would have got a few more

same is the case with Tendulkar, who can't afford to get out now after playing so many balls

PS Tendulkar gone too

would hv preferred them getting out in the 7th over with 60/2 than this .... the new batsmen have a tough task ahead now with little time to settle down and score at a quick rate

This pitch looks slow with low bounce, and shot-making won't be easy. I wouldn't be surprised if this is one for the bowlers.
