This won't be held until the next domestic season, which should be in July sometime, if all goes to plan, but I figure it's best to sort out the structure and placements now. That way it won't complicate the contract negotiations and pre-season preparations.
The Competition Format:
- 7 domestic franchises and a Masters XI.
- Teams play each other once in a round robin format
- Top four teams advance to the semi-final round
- A captain will be appointed by the CWBCC for each franchise
- A CW XI icon will be appointed to each franchise
- CWBCC will assign players to various franchises, until each has at least 11 CW players*
- After the minimum of 11 has been met, a draft will be run for franchises to acquire overseas talent
- Captains may apply for a franchise name, but the CWBCC must approve it.
* Players must indicate whether or not they are available for the T20 competition.
The CWBCC is yet to determine the scheduling of the matches, but the final four matches may be played at a different point in the season to the first round matches.
The Franchises:
1. Garven Island
2. Davistow
3. Fardingham
4. Morkambe
5. West Robham
6. East Robham
7. Nixonston
8. Masters XI (in Webcester)
The draft will take place as follows:
1. A draft order will be randomly generated, and each team can sign one player per round.
2. At the end of each round, the order will be reversed for the next round.
3. Each franchise will have 6 points to spend.
4. There will be three lists of players (a total of 42) and each franchise may sign a maximum of 3 players, within their 6-point budget.
The draft will not take place until each team has a minimum of 11 homegrown players. The sooner people sign in, the sooner we can start that process.

Remember that this is an experimental tournament, as we try to find the most effective format for the long-term. We're also undecided on the simulator, as Håkon may have something up his sleeve.
