Havn't logged into battrick for ages but it turns out i came first in my First Class Divison and second in my OD league by only two points. Might start paying more attention again. ATM, I have about 15m in the bank but nothing to spend it on.

My batting is fairly strong and according to my fixtures history, of recent times, I havn't been bowled out or lost more than 6 wickets. Nevertheless, I only have strength in the top 4 and might need to invest in some long term batting trainees.

On the other hand, since my current batsmen are doing the job quite nicely, i was thinking of buying some more spinners - I already have Craig Henry - and thus using the dusty pitch to my advantage.

At least I'll win most of my games for 42 days. Will be looking for as many friendlies as possible (IE. BT Friendlies) once I'm out of the cup so anyone up for one I'll be keen.

Well if it makes you feel any better, I've just bid on someone who'll send me into the red quite quickly so will probably have to sell someone just to stay afloat.

Had forgotten I'd expanded my ground, thus spending 300k+ so instead of 700k float, I have 400k with no home games for at least 3 weeks.

Few quick things.

A. After last season's final 16 heroics, I could be looking at an early exit from this year's BT20. Think I might have under-estimated in TIEing against a solid but unspectacular Div.IV side. Batting first and currently 89/0 after 13 - Wish Akhtar would bugger off and give Greening a bat!

B. Dwyer, how about 'Dwyer Consequences' for your new team name - Though I'm personally against name changes, as I think their a cynical anti-inflationary measure to take money out of the BT economy.

C. Have Listed Cash, 34YO, Resp/Sup Bat, Strong/Prof LHS,. He's currently on £255K, which I reckon is all he's really worth, but hey he's there, especially if a newbie fancies a season or two's worth of a player they wouldn't ordinarily be able to afford.

D. Have also listed Steven Carlton, Sup/Resp LFM, for £0. If anyone could start the ball rolling for me, with a bid of say £2m, I'd be particularly grateful, as it would give me a bit of wriggle room in the TM.

E. Kweek, would you be interested in selling Bryan Tomlinson? And if so, how much would you be looking for?
